## What is Crux?

Crux — AI Decision Coach

The decisions that shape your life rarely have clean answers. Whether to take the role. Whether to make the move. Whether to have the conversation. Whether to draw the line.

Crux is built for these moments. It's an AI decision coach that uses a structured five-stage framework to help you think through complex choices with rigour and honesty.

This isn't a chatbot. Crux draws out your own thinking first, then challenges it. It engages with the trade-offs you're actually weighing — including the uncomfortable ones — without moralising or hedging.

TWO WAYS TO USE CRUX

Start a Crux (20-30 minutes) — For decisions that deserve the space. A deep, structured coaching session that maps your options, builds interactive impact cards, stress-tests your thinking, and helps you commit with clear reasoning.

Quick Crux (5-10 minutes) — For decisions you need to make today. Five sharp questions that draw out your thinking, challenge weak reasoning, and help you commit with confidence. If the decision turns out to be bigger than expected, Crux offers to switch to a full session automatically.

WHY CRUX INSTEAD OF A CHATBOT?

Chatbots give you the answers they think you want to hear. Crux helps you think. Where a general AI will happily tell you what to do, Crux uses a structured framework to draw out your own thinking, challenge your assumptions, and surface the trade-offs you're actually weighing. Your decisions deserve more than a quick chat.

THE FRAMEWORK

Build — Map the options as you see them
Assess — Work through the upsides, downsides, and trade-offs of each path with interactive cards
Test — Stress-test your thinking against five challenges designed to surface blind spots
Decide — Compare what survives and identify the path that's emerging
Commit — Own the decision with reasoning you can stand behind

DESIGNED FOR REAL DECISIONS

Career moves and direction changes. Relationship and family choices. Financial commitments and investments. Relocation and major moves. Difficult conversations. Business partnerships and obligations. Anything where the stakes are real and the answer isn't obvious.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Asks before it suggests — your thinking comes first. Engages with grey areas and complex trade-offs. Interactive option cards you control and calibrate. Brings real knowledge when you ask for it. Designed for adults navigating adult choices. Grounded in decision-making research from Chip and Dan Heath, Daniel Kahneman, and Gary Klein.

PRIVACY-FIRST

Decisions stay on your device. No ads. No data sales. No tracking. Your decision history is protected by Face ID. Anonymous analytics only — opt out anytime. Sign in with Apple keeps your account simple.

Crux is free at launch.
