## What is CryAssist?

Your baby is crying, and you just want to understand why.

CryAssist is an AI baby cry analysis and insight app for new parents. Record about 6 seconds of your baby crying, and CryAssist analyzes the sound and suggests a possible reason, so you can respond with a little more confidence and a little less guesswork.

CryAssist never claims certainty. It offers possible reasons, gentle context, and patterns over time. Not answers, and never medical advice.

WHAT CRYASSIST CAN SUGGEST
After a short recording, CryAssist shows a possible reason for the cry, such as:
  • Hunger
  • Tiredness
  • Discomfort
  • Belly pain
  • Needing a burp

Each result comes with a confidence level (clear suggestion, likely, or uncertain), and CryAssist will also tell you when a sound doesn't seem to be a baby cry at all.

GENTLE CONTEXT, NEVER CONCLUSIONS
CryAssist can show supportive context alongside a result, like how long it's been since the last feeding or sleep, and your baby's age. For example: "Your baby was last fed 3h ago. This context may support the hunger suggestion." This context is there to help you interpret the result yourself. It never changes the AI suggestion, and it's never a diagnosis.

MULTIPLE BABIES, ONE TAP AWAY
Add a profile for each baby (name, birth date, gender), and CryAssist works out their age for you. Switch between babies in a tap, with one active baby at a time.

INSIGHTS AND PATTERNS OVER TIME
As you use CryAssist, it surfaces gentle patterns for each baby: your most common suggestion, the time of day cries happen most, the average time since feeding or sleep, and the cause you confirm most often. Insights only appear once there's enough history to be meaningful, and they never draw conclusions for you.

HELP CRYASSIST LEARN
After a result, you can confirm what actually helped your baby. It's optional, editable later, and it helps improve future suggestions for everyone.

PRIVACY FIRST, BY DESIGN
  • No account. No login. No email. Ever.
  • Recordings are analyzed and then discarded by default. Nothing is kept unless you choose to.
  • Your history stays local on your device.
  • Analytics and training-data sharing are completely optional and off by default.
