## What is Cryptic Caverns?

You are stranded on an island after a terrible shipwreck in which you are the sole survivor. You discover a thriving civilization once lived here and delve deeper to uncover the mystery of their disappearance. During your adventure you will pick up items, encounter characters, and solve puzzles that will bring you one step closer to uncovering the lost past of the island.

It was the caverns that held the key. The caverns were there before the incident that caused the collapse of the city. Since the shipwreck, you’ve heard legends of an ancient civilization that once lived far below the surface. The island has changed since the incident and you intend to find out why.

Intro music and game sounds turn back on at every game start. Have to switch them off each time. Is there a way to shut them off permanently?

This is now the third game I have played from 3D Methods. As someone who plays a lot of point and click I unfortunately run into a good amount of repetitiveness, find a key, enter a code boom you’re out. Well not these games! They’re very fresh and challenging without feeling completely impossible without a hint. Well done!

Cryptic Caverns was one of my favorites from 3D Methods. I enjoyed the creativeness along with the adventurous feel to the game. It made you feel like tomb raider. I enjoyed interacting with island locals. That is something I’m not used to in an escape game. Lastly, I really like the length of the game. It is really nice to play a point and click that doesn’t just stay in one or two rooms! What a game!!

Game is absorbing, and the puzzles make sense. Seldom did I need to resort to trying everything in my inventory. The map helps keep the player's bearings. Hints were not good: find something to do with an inventory item. As if we didn't know that! One puzzle, however, was needlessly complex with far too many steps to solve. Fun went right out the window as I played & paused the video walkthrough to get it done. Aside from that headache, I had fun and would try other games by this developer.

Outstanding value at $0.99! Very creative story and puzzles. Love there are no hidden object time wasters!  Puzzles are challenging, unique, remind me a little of Myst series (which will always be the benchmark for puzzle games IMO).  Nice job developers. Thanks!!!

Every time you move the game has to stop and take time to load to next scene.  It's pain and by the time your on the next screen you forgot why you even went there.  Forget it!!   Takes mor time loading than actual game play.  Game is only 1/2 hr long at best but loading adds 3 days.  .

I enjoyed this app!  It never froze and I didn't see any glitches. The game was exactly what I wanted.  I had to go back and forth using deductive reasoning to win.  Not too easy!  The hints are great in case you get stuck.  Please keep making these games! I will be buying the next one!
