## What is Cryptic Clue School?

Cryptic Clue School is an on-device course for learning how English cryptic crossword clues work.

・Learn thirteen clue devices in order
Study anagrams, hidden words, charades, containers, reversals, deletions, homophones, and other core devices one at a time. Each lesson includes common indicators and plain explanations.

・Walk through worked examples word by word
Completed examples reveal the definition, indicator, fodder, connector, and wordplay in sequence. See not only the answer, but why every part of the original clue is there.

・Practice with a staged hint ladder
Ask first for the definition side, then the structure, and only then the answer. Correct solves earn stars and XP, while progress shows mastery by clue device.

・282 original clues and a five-tier arena
Work through thirteen lessons and 282 original clues. Completing lessons opens arena sets arranged across five difficulty tiers.

・Progress stays on your device
Stars, XP, streaks, and solve results are stored on device. No account or external content API is required. The English clue text remains visible in every interface language because it is the material being studied.

Supported screens may show a bottom banner; full-screen ads may appear only at natural pauses after a clue is solved or revealed. An optional one-time Remove Ads purchase hides both formats.
