## What is Crypto?

We all want privacy, right? Well...some of us do. Now you can with Crypto-Chat! We're putting security back into the hands of the user. Enjoy fast and fun encrypted conversation! Type a message and then press encrypt and send it to a friend. They’ll be able to view it only if you have shared with them your password for decrypting the message and then the decrypted message disappears from the app once the app is deleted from running in the background – unless they take a screenshot!

Securely send messages, peer to peer, with our adaptive encryption technology. Encryption and Decryption take place on the device only, so messages cannot be compromised. Even if the message is maliciously intercepted by someone or stored on a server somewhere and accessed by someone other than you or your intended recipient(s), only the password used to encrypt the message can decode your Crypto-Chat. So be careful to share your password with only friends that you want to read your Crypto-Chats. But don't take our word for it, try it out! You can visibly see your message encrypted and communicate in confidence with Crypto-Chat.

This is ideal for replacing text messages or email. I like the concept, but I'd prefer using standard email. This would be a great way to keep your phone data secure before selling your phone.

Personally I treat this app more like a gimmick that an actual security system mainly because of the screenshot flaw. It’s designed well and it’s a lot of fun when all your friends have the app because it makes chatting a little more interesting. It also helps keep your messages out of the hands of snooping family members or friends.

In the day and age we live now, privacy is very important to me and this app is a step above other chat apps in my opinion. I even got my wife into using it so she can be safe too. The design is simple and good, but it's all about security.

I really like the app because you text messages are completely private. The person that you text simply enters the password to read text. That brings me to the only drawback that I have seen. Most people are lazy and don't won't to enter a password to read the text.

Great way for private conversations. The other person has to have the app as well as the password. I give it four stars because what's protecting the actual app? Someone could open it on your phone and see the messages you've been encrypting. Maybe a password for the app itself would be useful.
