## What is Crypto Porto?

Crypto Porto is a private, local-first portfolio tracker for crypto and stocks. Get clear figures without creating an account and without advertising.

Start free with one portfolio and up to three unique crypto or stock assets. Upgrade once to Crypto Porto Unlimited for unlimited portfolios and assets. The lifetime upgrade is a one-time purchase, no subscription.

Choose English or Dutch and view portfolio values in US dollars or euros.

Key features:
- Combine crypto and stocks in the same portfolio.
- Search crypto by name or ticker and stocks by company name or ticker.
- Add buy and sell transactions with quantity, unit price, costs, date, and an optional note.
- Distinguish and filter crypto and stocks with clear asset labels.

### 1.6.0 — 2026-09-05

Crypto Porto 1.6 adds stocks alongside crypto. Search by company name or ticker, combine both asset types in one portfolio, and filter holdings with clear Crypto and Stock labels.

Stock detail pages include interactive charts, daily performance, market data, and financial metrics. Crypto detail pages have been expanded to match the same consistent experience.

This update also adds asset logos, stronger backup support, and startup and market-data reliability improvements.

### 1.5.0 — 2026-09-04

Crypto Porto 1.5 provides a consistent English and Dutch experience throughout the app.

The one-time Crypto Porto Unlimited purchase now works through the App Store and remains active after relaunch. The upgrade screen now uses the Crypto Porto icon.

The free version includes one portfolio and three unique coins. Unlimited removes these limits.

### 1.3.3 — 2026-06-24

This build includes improvements to the local data export and import functionality.

What changed:

- Users can now select which portfolio they want to export before generating an export file.
- Export is available in both CSV and JSON formats.
- Exported files now include clearer portfolio metadata, including the portfolio name and export date.
- Import handling has been improved for both CSV and JSON files.
- The app now validates imported files before applying changes.
- Users receive a preview/confirmation before importing portfolio data.
- Existing portfolio name conflicts are handled more safely.
- Invalid or unsupported files now show a clear error message instead of causing issues.

The feature has been tested successfully with:

- JSON export and re-import
- CSV export and re-import
- Portfolio selection before export
- Import validation and confirmation flow

All user data remains stored locally on the device. No account or external server is required.
