Recently, I can not open it without a password. When did you start requiring a password to read the magazine? When it works, I really enjoy reading the magazine, BUT recently more often than not the app just doesn't start or just hangs. Please fix it or I'll have to remove the app. 4 September 2011 update: app still doesn't start. Too bad, i used to read the magazine cover to cover. 2 October 2011 update: the app used to work so well when I first installed it. Why 2 months after the first problems seem to have started you haven't found a developer to fix it is beyond me. I used to to show your magazine on my iPad to all my friends, urging them to look for it and start reading it. But overall I will keep reading CS in this format over the physical mag. ### 4/5 — Really like this app *2010-05-07, version 0* I really like this app. I have really been looking forward to using my iPad as a virtual magazine reader, and this app delivers. The layout is just like CS magazine, but it's even more beautiful on the iPad. It also features a virtual table of contents, it has hyperlinks in a few places where it makes sense, and it has a zoom feature. It also allows one to download back issues from within the app, so I don't have to worry about missing an issue. I'm really glad they exercised restraint with the multimedia features. I'm really glad they didn't try to make the magazine into a web page or some multimedia extravaganza. I don't want added distractions unless they clearly add value. There are a couple areas that could use some improvement, however. When one turns the page, the new page is blurry for a second, which bothers my eyes. I wish they could somehow pre-load the next page, so it appears instantly when I turn the page. I also wish that it would support pinch-to-zoom, and that double-tapping would zoom in so a column of text expands to fill the screen similar to how Safari does it. If they can add these two features, I'll surely want to come back and give the app 5 stars. Modern Luxury has done a great job. It was a real treat to find it free on the newsstand. As far as usability goes, I love the I interface, and the pics/articles look great.
