## What is CSTEIX?

CSTEIX is an artwork you can stay inside, and a quiet meditation timer.

MEDITATION AND DWELL
Hold any movement's scene for a second and a half and choose Meditation or Dwell: timed for 1, 3, 5, 10 or 20 minutes or a length of your own, or open-ended. The session runs on the artwork itself, with the time remaining or elapsed shown beneath it. Hold to pause or end; leaving the app or locking the phone pauses it, and you decide when to continue. Hold CSTEIX at the top left to practise on the fifth artwork, the four together, or hold the app icon on the Home Screen to begin from a movement.

APPLE HEALTH
Turn on Save to Health in Settings, and completed meditations are written to the Health app as Mindful Minutes. Write-only: no Health data is ever read.

RECORDS AND STATISTICS
Tap CSTEIX at the top left for Records. Meditation and Dwell are kept apart, each with week, month, year and all-time charts and the five artworks; open one to see every session's active time, and the place and weather at the time if you turned them on. Ripples left on paper and meteors sent across the night sky are counted too.

ART AND PHILOSOPHY
Chaos, Spacetime, Existence and IX are four ways of looking at one world. On paper and night sky, the ink gathers and disperses with time; touch the paper and a ripple answers, touch the sky and a meteor passes. With Weather on, wind, rain, thunder and snow reach the water and clouds dim the stars. An original philosophical essay is included.

PRIVACY AND CHOICE
No account. Records stay on your device; iCloud sync, Places, Weather and Health are each yours to turn on and off. No streaks. An optional one-time purchase supports the author and shows a supporter badge; it unlocks nothing.
