This makes it very difficult to examine the small changes in voltage which provide the key information on the status of a lead acid battery. A better scale would be something like eleven to fifteen volts. Yes, the state of charge graph is very useful, but if there is a voltage graph it should be useful too. CTEK products are excellent. I’ve owned a few. Please update this app and bring it up to the CTEK level of excellence. UPDATE: Years after making this post, still no update or improvement of this app. It could be so much more. I have purchased other CTEK products recently but am VERY DISAPPOINTED in CTEK’s complete lack of interest in evolving this product to at least provide usable voltage information. ### 2/5 — Will not clear date. *2024-08-10, version 2.4.5* Cannot clear past data even though it asks to confirm . Show landscape mode and data still showing. It will not connect to iPhone 11 (2 different phones) or an iPhone 13. I am unable to get it to connect with all 3 handsets. Will connect to a Samsung s20+. Do not purchase this it is a discontinued product. I have purchased a ctek 25 amp charger and a 20 amp dc to dc however due to the lack of support and response from ctek I’ll be going with redarc in the future sorry you’ve lost me ctek ### 1/5 — Great idea, terrible execution. *2022-12-27, version 2.4.0* The app and associated device just really never work as intended. Had me chasing a phantom battery drain. After considerable amount spent at car dealer and auto electricians it turns out there was no draw and the app and associated battery monitor just have useless data that is mostly in error. Really wish it would just work and be accurate. Especially inaccurate is the SOC reading or estimation. ### 1/5 — Impossible to get started *2022-11-18, version 2.4.0* Can’t accept terms and conditions on the initial setup screen, so there’s nowhere left to go. This app needs to be decommissioned. The issue is, if you lose the connection and try to relink it you get a nice pop up message giving the link to this news and then nothing! It is not able to tap button on iPhone 12mini. there is no button. ### 1/5 — Total waste of money - steer clear *2022-08-18, version 2.3.8* I made the mistake of purchasing three of the CTEK devices for vehicles owned by various members of the family. Total waste of about $300 (Australian). Their software is rubbish and never worked reliably with any of the three devices. Their tech support is a joke and when they eventually responded to complaints they kept promising that they would fix the problems. Never happened. Now I have been contacted and told that all of my CTEK devices will no longer work because they have “old firmware”. ### 1/5 — Wont install *2022-07-25, version 2.3.8* Not at all easy to install, must accept terms and conditions and then asks for permission to share dat a, no tick box to progress installation ### 3/5 — Works ok but could be better *2022-07-03, version 2.3.8* This app was easy to download and set-up. It does the basic job of what volts, temp and charge % but the scales are a bit hopeless. As other have said 0-25v isn’t much good when the interest range is 11-15v most of the time. Same for temp The other issue is it often fails to connect or takes some while to do so. Needs to be more reactive. I will buy another sensor for my other battery but I expected more from CTEk! ### 1/5 — App not working *2022-05-01, version 2.3.8* App has stopped working. And no fix? Bug: you still get notifications despite having disabled them in settings ( no status update for 7 days) which is a PITA when your other car is 1600 miles away .... Update 2024 - tried installing and binding to a new iPhone 15 Pro Max. There’s no box to tick. How can you make your app so useless when it could be so simple? ### 5/5 — Great System *2022-04-19, version 2.3.8* We now have CTEK Battery Sense monitors on 4 vehicles and an electric start chipper. Incredibly helpful to have months of charge state data for each battery - know exactly when to charge with our CTEK MX 5 chargers and we can tell which batteries are getting close to replacement. We’re on iOS 15 and have no connection or transmission problems. Have an acquaintance on Android who has problems. I do wish the resolution on the vertical axis of the graphs in app could be zoomed. State of charge and temperature are moderately useful, but the fixed range of 0 to 25 for voltage is useless for a 12 volt system. ### 5/5 — Works you just got to figure it out *2022-02-08, version 2.3.5* Instructions are a little vague when entering numbers to pair your dongle first time And the camera scan didn’t work with the new iphone 13 pro you’re not able to to zoom in to scan the barcode Once I figured out you only need to enter all the numbers, without the first 4 I was up and running so no issues after Once achieved that. Auto reconnect so far it has been doing so once I am in a 10 metre range ### 5/5 — Does what I need it to do. *2021-01-19, version 2.3.5* I use these on my cars that don't live in the garage on a charger. It updates to my phone when I get in or near the cars telling me how the batteries are doing and if they need to get on a charger for the night.
