I used their help on the app and there is no reference to what battery to use. Trail and error I tried cr3032 & 3025. Both activated the device but my iPhone couldn’t find them. A waste of money and they want me to pay to ship them back to Indonesia for a refund. They get a solid junk rating from me. ### 1/5 — Cheap and Nasty *2019-04-27, version 2.1.0* I’m sorry to have to report that this is a useless waste of time. The signs are there. Even the App description is badly google translated. The fob beeps and turns itself off. When connected the radar doesn’t show you where it is. And it beeps constantly every time your phone moves 15 feet away. Back to the drawing board for this rubbish! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money *2019-04-17* Bought this about 2 months ago. At first it worked great but started to only work intermittently. Stopped completely 3-4 weeks ago. Changed it out for a new one (came with 4). None of the other 3 work. Either batteries are old and depleted or none of them are operative for whatever reason. Not worth your hard earned money. I had bought this in the hope of locating my cat’s safety breakaway collar/ID when it loses it, as it often does. But I can’t, because the ‘tag’ switches itself off after a few minutes. This renders the app useless, as it cannot connect to the tag. I had hoped that the tag would have a long standby duration. If the collar then went missing, I could turn on my phone Bluetooth, activate the app, and have a walkabout to try to locate the tag/collar. But I can’t do that; hence it’s useless. ### 1/5 — It would be nice if it worked *2019-02-23* I received a few free units after I graduated. The unit itself keeps turning off because the button gets accidentally pressed, and even when it is on, it refuses to connect to the unit. Now I know why they aren’t talking to me! The trackers are complete garbage. The batteries are already out on 2 of the 4. Of the 2 left only one works. The other just flashes a message that connection is lost. Before I do so and see all this negative comment so I paid attention to the process before agree to the term. It took me a awhile, but mostly because she hid it in a box of clothes. I kept feeling around but couldn’t find them. Will get another one for my lil one so she knows where she leaves her backpack. ### 5/5 — Awesome little gadget *2017-10-29* I purchased a few of these so I wouldn’t ever have to worry about misplacing my keys or other certain valuable items. Personally I think it works great. I read the other review and I assume that person either couldn’t figure out how to pair the tracker to their phone (even though it’s clearly explained in the instructions) or unfortunately received a faulty unit/unit with a dead battery. Mine works great and was paired in less then 30 seconds. I think it’s great that it keeps track of where it was last via google maps and also can be tracked via radar for when you are in range and are trying to figure out if you going in the correct direction and if you getting close/how close you are. Where the other review said they wished they could have given it zero stars, I wish I could give it 10 stars! Hopefully they were able to figure out how to pair/use the product because it is a very handy gadget. I also plan on using it on my 4 year old to wear as a necklace or attached to his belt when we go to Six Flags (sense he has a tendency of running off on his own at exciting places such as that) just Incase he ever does make it out of our sight. If so, we will have no issue finding him or have a panic attack thinking the little bugger took off. You can get the app Store but Apple wants to hide a search for it. I had this on her collar and I made it a habit to turn it on before we walked out the door just in case.
