## What is Ctrl Player v1?

The intuitive app making it easier than ever to control your installation's audio, entertainment, video, lighting, and so much more.

Player makes control of multiple pieces of complex equipment on your installation centralised & simple by allowing you to view and interact with your Ctrl Suite interfaces.

Player presents the customisable buttons, sliders, steppers, images, device modules & more in a form that makes triggering automation, controlling devices intuitive and straightforward for any level of technical ability.

Player setup has been designed to be as simple and user-proofed as possible. Connect and go. Once the App is opened, Player can be discovered and adopted into a Ctrl Engine session over your local network to allow users to start controlling the installation.

Why limit yourself to one device?

The Ctrl Suite architecture allows you to connect multiple Player devices on the same installation. The system state is synchronised between all of them over the Ctrl Engine.

Within Ctrl Designer, your Player interfaces can be authored to trigger devices using the following protocol types:

### 2/5 — NOT USABLE AT THIS MOMENT! PLEASE FIX THE WEBPAGE ASAP!

When i open up the app it says i should go to onlx.ltd/ctrl but THIS IS A 404 PAGE.

To my understanding, i should be able to find some sort of client for pc from this site but since it is not available, i have no way to connect my tablet to pc at all.

I tried out CTRL FOR IPAD app and it works fine, but it has so much functions that exceeds my needs and i just want no more than some simple midi cc sliders. So here i am to try this app which seems like a simpler version of CTRL, only to find the support page invalid.

Maybe developers has forgotten about this app? It's unlikely because it was updated just 4 weeks ago, even more up to date than CTRL FOR IPAD app.

Anyway please fix the 404 webpage asap. would be appreciated.

P.S. Have you considered giving your apps a distinguishable name? The current names are too hard to dig out from oceans of irrelevant items not only when googling but also in app store.

All updated now. - Ctrl Player (part of Ctrl Suite) is designed for larger installations, allowing multiple tablets, PC’s and macs to be synchronised over the local network. (You can find out more at https://onlx.ltd/ctrl-suite ). If you are looking for a cost effective method to output OSC or MIDI, check out the Ctrl for iPad Core license. This tier allows MIDI or OSC to be output from Ctrl for iPad at a lower cost.
