I love how organized it is, the layout of the app, and how accessible the free version is! You can still use the app easily without the subscription and I love it. I also love all the cute other features like the daily questionnaires and little things organizer. *One* complaint however. I wish you could remove the national holidays. Our group events blend in with them and can make them hard to find. Days with multiple holidays can also make it look very cluttered, and a big example of this is August 3rd. It has 5 holidays and there’s not even room for our events.

Just go to Settings > Holidays, choose your country, then select exactly which holidays you'd like to display or hide. If using the free version, the app is very limited and I am not liking the organization and view options (weekly). I’m sure the paid option will be better. May delete this if I can find something better.

If I could color code different events that would be AWESOME!!!! Yet there’s only the colors of the family members available. It helps with work schedules and such- but combined family events or important things- we need more color

The utility of this app is great for scheduling family reminders, but for some reason it feels the need to constantly send me notifications that I can schedule things on this scheduling app. I want to disable notifications so it will stop sending me useless messages but then I wouldn’t get the notifications of the things I am actually scheduling.

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the annoying notifications. You can adjust some notification types in Cubbily → Settings → Notification settings. If that doesn’t let you turn off the specific messages you mean, you can go to Settings → Contact Us in the app and tell us which notifications you want removed so we can improve this more precisely.

I don’t like that I can’t add events or work shifts without that person being in the family. I just want to add everything and have my family see it.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback, we understand the need to add schedules for someone who is not an invited family member. As a workaround, you can create a Child Account as a placeholder (Family tab → Invite (+) → Child Account) and assign events/shifts to it so your family can see them.

I had the app on my phone and I recently got a iPad, I hoped to use this app on my iPad instead of my phone so I have a bigger and clear view of mine and my friends schedules. But it shows up like a iPhone, the screen appearance is tiny and I can’t make it any bigger. Would be so great if there was a version on here completely compatible with iPad

At the moment, our app runs in iPhone compatibility mode on iPad, which makes the screen look small. We haven’t fully adapted the interface for iPad yet. An iPad-optimized version is already on our roadmap, because we agree that a larger, clearer calendar view would make a big difference for families. We don’t have a release date to share yet, but your feedback helps us prioritize this work. This is a great app for organising my family’s week. The only two downside’s I see is I’m unable to change the public holidays to represent Australia and not being able to add in activities to repeat everyday,week,month,etc. Other then that it seems quite handy and seems like it will be helpful in organising all our lives a little more.

We don’t yet support Australian public holidays, but we’re actively working on a global version with localized holidays, and Australia will definitely be included soon. As for repeat events, the feature is already available: when you tap on "+" to add an event, you’ll find a “Repeats” option that lets you set daily, weekly, monthly, or custom recurrences. The app is great as everyone can have their own picture and colour to help sort out members. A monthly view that doesn’t cost $80 subscription for the year would be good option

I have two calendars. One for me and my little family of 5 and one for my larger family of aunts, uncles, and grandparents and cousins. It’s been a good thing to keep informed and I touch with family around America. Also, with lots of blended families-we are able to better organize times when we have all the kids to do things together.

I’ve used this app for a few months with my bestfriend and recently it’s been so glitched out and non effective considering I pay for the extra features just for NOTHING to work. I click on the full calendar to add something and a pop up about the new features comes up half loaded and doesn’t let me dismiss it and then when I add something to that calendar by the weekly portion IT WONT SAVE IT, won’t even let me off the screen. Great up until recently..

This app helps my husband and me easily coordinate our family schedule with its shared family calendar. I can sync my updated shift roster so everyone knows my work hours, and the shared shopping list is my absolute favourite feature. It’s replaced other apps like to-do lists and countdowns—such a helpful tool for families!

This app is so good in every way, it is very functionable and easy to use but it is not supportive of large families. I have 4 siblings, and this app only supports families of 6 or under, which doesnt work for our family. Please increase the family amount. Otherwise, love the app.

I don’t appreciate apps that make you pay for every little thing you want to do! I couldn’t even see the whole days of the month unless I paid money or do anything except for the current weeks. This app is a waste of time and can’t believe they advertise these stupid apps!

I won’t download this app. It’s not a free app. The features in the free version are practically useless. The view of the colander is weekly view which again is useless. Charges for the paid version are high and not worth it.

Do NOT spend your money on this app. There are WAY better calendar sharing apps out there. 
I did the 7-day free trial, along with various others, to see which could do what I needed. I wanted to see 5 x different calendars in a ‘landscape’ view with overlapping activities in hourly columns. Cubbily couldn’t do it. So I faffed around trying to see if it could offer an alternative, it couldn’t. The app design is far to cumbersome and has zero efficiency, let alone organisation appeal. 
The WORST part was when I forgot to cancel the trial period, on day 7, without any notification or warning, they charged me £49.99!! 
Exactly two-minutes after the transaction was charged to my card I sent a message via Apple App Store to request a refund. Two days later I got a reply that they declined my request to a refund because they said I had used the app. I complained again, telling them that I hadn’t, but more importantly, that the app could NOT do what I wanted it to do! I cannot use it, won’t use it, and will never use it!! So why should I pay £50 for nothing! I DO NOT WANT ACCESS TI THE APP. Plus they can check that I did not use it after about day 3 of the trial period. 
The refused and refused and refused. 
Shocking behaviour from a trading standards point of view, and from a customer relations perspective. 
I will shout from rooftops to make people aware of the unethical business practices of this company. 
Save yourself a ton of money, and stay away from CUBBILY.

Regarding the subscription: all payments, free trial periods, and refund decisions are managed directly by Apple. Unfortunately, developers like us don’t have the ability to issue refunds ourselves, we can only recommend users to request them through the App Store. That said, we completely understand how frustrating it feels to be charged after forgetting to cancel a trial, and we’ll look into adding clearer reminders in our app to prevent this in the future.  

As for the calendar view you mentioned (multiple calendars in a landscape hourly format), you’re right, this is not something our app currently supports. Our design focus has been on family coordination features like shared shifts, child accounts, and reminders, but your suggestion is valuable and we’ll consider whether it fits into our future roadmap.  

We regret that Cubbily didn’t meet your needs, but we do appreciate your input. Even critical feedback helps us improve.

Once again. The number one feature I’d like to use on an app like this (work shift feature) I have to pay for!!! Jesus why is it so hard to find a good calendar app that’s FREE?!  Money money money. All anyone ever wants. Christ on a stick man.

I thought this was going to be a really good app until I realised that there is no monthly view. It only shows you day you are on. It is pretty much useless for looking at future events. Deleted.

I’m a truck driver. Im not at home for weeks, and every day I'm getting notifications that “Your Family have no plans today, plan something fun!”
Its mockery. And you can’t turn this annoying thing off, only can turn off all notifications. What is the reason to have that app then without notifications?
I started using it because of my wife, and probably move to something else, because you can’t turn off those stupid everyday notifications.

I really enjoyed this app for a long time until it completely logged me and my entire family out of the app and deleted our calendar. It now won’t let me access any of the information i had on there ( doctors appointments, important events, ect). I am now scattering to find all of these things and add them to a new calendar.

If you want to see the calendar by the month you have to pay extra.  Upgrade gets you very little.  Basically you can see calendar by the month instead of only by day.  Deceiving.  No way to assign colors for types of events.  
It really doesn’t work for me and no response from support to try to help cancel subscription.

This app was originally started almost 3 years ago by my then 17 year old daughter; to keep track of the craziness that is Senior year..we all liked how it looked & then stayed for how well it functions❣️We love it, and it keeps us connected as a family if 5. We would love to upgrade; but as of now it’s providing everything we need at home and most especially on the go❣️

This is such an easy way to keep track of appointments and events.  My partner and I can see at a glance whether or not anything is booked in for any given day, before committing to things.  So useful!

I switched from google phone to iPhone and when I tried to log back into my Cubbily-pro account, login in from a google account was not available to the iPhone start page. I emailed the team hoping to regain access to my original account. Their responses were prompt and helpful. They fixed something in the back end to allow this to happen, and even prompted me with an email that the change was successful. And now I’m back in!!! Definitely one of the best tech customer support services I have encountered in years.

Really helps get organized. We love the questions of the day and they get the whole family involved. It’s the highlight of my day to read everyone’s answers. The design is clean, bright and the ability to customize the colors make it visually pleasing - which helps with my adhd. 
I haven’t had success with other app based calendars but Cubbily makes it easy to enter new events & it saves old ones so when a new one repeats it pre-populates which makes life so easy. 
Don’t use the lists feature much, but the reminders, the widget… everything is just easy and pretty. aesthetically pleasing to keep my motivation going.
