## What is CUBE?

UBE brings real-time AR video effects to your iPhone camera. Built on Metal and ARKit, it lets you shoot eye-catching videos and photos with effects applied live as you film.

LIDAR SCANNING
CUBE combines the live camera image with the depth map from the LiDAR Scanner to build a 3D particle cloud of up to 3,000,000 points. Blend it with the real world and step into a surreal version of your surroundings.

LIQUID METAL CAMOUFLAGE
Go back to 1991 and become the T-1000 from James Cameron's "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". Your body turns into shimmering, see-through liquid metal that blends into the scene behind you.

CODE RAIN
Inspired by the falling code from "The Matrix". Blue pill or red pill?

MOTION TRAIL
Inspired by "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners", CUBE recreates the afterimage trail David leaves behind when he activates his Sandevistan.

SLIT SCAN
Stretch and bend time by capturing the scene one slice at a time.

WITH CUBE YOU CAN
- Switch between effects instantly
- Apply effects to people, the background or the whole frame
- Fine-tune each effect with its own settings
- Record Full HD video at a high bitrate
- Take high-resolution photos at 2880 × 1620

### 5/5 — THIS is the kind of app i’m looking for

*2026-07-27*

e.g. Thrivestone, Unusual, Efekt, etc. etc. absolutely stunning super-hi-def, ultra-hi-res effects that are pretty customizable and lots of fun for various use cases. the overall note also being that the effects are UNIQUE. not like the thpusands of “glitch /crazy fx” apps that literally are just the RGB color split thing and some little sporadic square cutouts or that are unnaturally placed, or whatever. hell yeah, i would love to keep seeing new effects, please! that’s my only complaint, actually; i want more!!!

### 4/5 — Cool Effects👍❤️

*2025-01-14*

I love the different filters in this app and they get very fun to use after a while. Especially the motion trail which is a direct reference to one of my favorite animes, Cyberpunk Edgerunners. But even though I like this app there are only 2 reasons that I gave this app 4 stars. First, I think that the motion trail effect should have better detail and more options like for example, an option where your face splits into 4 different trails like in the last episode of Edgerunners when David went cyberpsycho. And the second, we need more effects like the motion trail that are from anime, like a Super Saiyan Aura WITH a kamehameha or being able to use a stand from jojo, or even being able to use Gojos powers. But other than that if they do add more anime effects or more cool effects in general I will happily make this 4 into a 5. Thank you New Shooting Experience:)
