## What is Cubelets Updater?

Cubelets robot blocks are a fast and easy way to inspire kids to become better thinkers.

The Cubelets app connects to your Bluetooth Cubelet, and allows you to play with Cubelets in new ways. Connect to your Bluetooth Cubelet and see a map of your Cubelets update in real time as you change your construction. Then, select up to six Cubelets to remote control them. Steer your Drive blocks around, light up your Flashlight block, or read the output from the Distance blocks on your robot.

This app supports Cubelets OS 4, a new operating system for Cubelets. If you have older Cubelets, you may upgrade them to OS 4 in the app.

The Cubelets Updater app has managed to fix my Bluetooth Cubelet twice. Without it, I’d have no Bluetooth Cubelet to speak of. It’s old, but it works perfectly.

It disconnects too much when a younger kid is playing. Wish the Bluetooth could set and connect much faster. It should not be as bad as it is waiting forever to boot up and then connect. 

The Cubelets by themselves are fine and fun. Since there have been no updates in a while, I assume the Bluetooth part will be useless in a few months. 

Lego attachments are good too.

I doubt the developer cares, but we've had the app along with our set for nearly two years and while it's super cool when it works...the connection to between the device and the cube is unstable and never works for more than a minute. And then must be reset outside the app, in Settings. The entire experience is just frustrating for both my son and his parents. It's honestly made me regret time purchasing the super expensive set of cubes because we spend all our energy finagling the app and not on building.
