## What is Cuber App?

Suck at cubing? Me too. So I wrote an app to help memorize full CFOP and improve my recognition time. I've gotten a lot better because of it and I hope it can help you too.

How do I use it?
However you want. I use it daily to learn and drill algorithms. Compare and contrast similar-looking cases. Time my solves in a variety of ways (metronome, casual, semi-blind). And jot down any notes.

Why are some of your algorithms slow?
That's just the way I learned them and it's hard to unlearn things. Good news though, you can easily change them to your liking or create entire collections.

Does your timer use the official WCA scrambler?
Not right now. It's a simplified method that is good enough for practice. It basically picks a random face, rotates it a random amount, picks another face, and repeats it 20 times.

What is an alias?
The solution for a T-Perm is (R U R' U') (R' F R) (R U' R' U') (R U R' F'). Using aliases, that can be shortened to 6 3 8 5. Much easier to memorize. Other cubers think I'm weird, but it works for me.

## Key features

- Memorize CFOP algorithms
- Improve recognition time
- Drill algorithms daily
- Compare similar cases
- Time solves with metronome
- Jot down notes
- Customize algorithms

### 5/5 — Amazing for learning 3x3!

*2025-09-09*

I’ve downloaded tons of cubing apps and this is my favorite when it comes to learning algorithms, because it allows me to randomly test and grade all my algs. Then you can filter based on the grading and get tested on your weakest ones. And since you can add your own I’ve started adding F2L algs too! Thanks for the great app!
To the dev: I noticed the app does not work properly if you prime double turns like R2’ or U’. Some use that notation to hint in what direction to do double turns. Easy enough to avoid the ‘ of course.

**Developer response:** Thank you for review! And thanks for the bug report. I'll make sure to get that fixed in the next version.

### 5/5 — CubeAzing!

This is an excellent app and it really helped me on my look ahead and my finger tricks. I’d recommend it to anyone trying to improve their stats!

## Frequently asked questions about Cuber App

### What is Cuber App used for?

Cuber App is designed to help users memorize cube-solving algorithms, improve their recognition time for different cube cases, and practice solving techniques.

### How does Cuber App help users learn algorithms?

It allows users to drill algorithms daily, compare similar-looking cases, and provides timing features to track progress. Users can also customize existing algorithms or create their own collections.
