## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Level 18 is missing a block.

*2021-12-19*

There is literally one block less on the board as is pictured. Thus making it impossible to pass the level.

### 2/5 — Needs to modify colours!!!!

*2018-02-01*

Entertaining and challenging but a complete nightmare for colourblind people!!!!!
Should consider changing the colour scheme to take colourblind people into account. Very disappointing!

**Developer response:** Thank you Pepe for your comments.
Unfortunately, the levels of cubes:brain teaser are handmade and changing the colors is not possible. However, we have another game cubes:procedural wonders with the same concept and with color blind mode.

### 3/5 — Please！！Put RESTART and BACKSPACE far from each other!

*2018-04-22*

There's always a disaster when you want to BACKSPACE but you touch restart! So please, hide the restart button please!

### 4/5 — Fun but challenging!

*2018-05-14*

Once you understand how to manipulate the blocks to achieve the correct positioning you still have to arrange to get it in one piece to the marked space without jumbling it into another shape. Don’t give up too soon. Leave for a little time and when you come back it will fall into place. Wish the developers had more quorky noises for each move either up or down or right or left. The same noise each time become annoying after a few turns. Other then the sounds missing the game is rather enjoyable and give you brain a workout. Good Luck to all.

### 4/5 — Fun game if you’re not colorblind

*2018-03-30*

Cubes is a lot of fun and easy to get started with. If you’re a bit color blind though, on some boards with orange, greens, and yellows it can be hard to identify the target colors on the board. Would be a nice add to have some buttons on the side in the colors of the cubes that you could press to get a quick highlight of all the target squares that match the color.

Overall though, fun game!

### 4/5 — Cubes: brain teaser

*2018-02-23*

Challenging and addictive.

### 4/5 — A Nice Simple Game

*2017-04-04*

This is a lovely game for being zen while listening to a podcast. There are no sound effects which makes it feel a bit hollow if you don't play it while listening to something else.

### 5/5 — Is 18 impossible?

*2021-11-24*

Now, I’m not one to criticize an app, but I’m majorly confused. I can get every block on a matching square, but there is one more square than blocks. No matter what, I can’t get the win. Please tell me if I’m doing something wrong, but I don’t know. Everything else is spot on, so still five stars, but this one level is really infuriating me 😑

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Excelente jogo!

Muito interessante a forma de jogar, fiz todas.

### 5/5 — Very Challenging

*2020-04-30*

I find the game concept really imaginative and enjoy the brain challenge. The physics and controls give a reasonable degree of freedom I like in how I interface with the game play. Two suggestions are:

1) It might be nice if there would be a few additional easier levels at the beginning rather than getting really hard at around level 8 whereas level 7 was fairly easy. That is, it gets really challenging all of the sudden, too quick for me and a bit more gradation might help getting too challenging too quickly so that you give the game up in frustration as another review hinted at.

Alternatively, allow the user the chance to choose from amongst say three level plays like Basic, Intermediate and Advanced and that way will, I think, eliminate frustration.

2) An option to turn off (and maybe on later) the move counter and the timer might put less pressure on players (like myself) who take a really long time and a lot of moves, especially when first starting out, because some players find the timer and move counter a bit intimidating but still like having their brains exercised.

But honestly, other than that, the gameplay does a lot to keep one's mind sharpened and though I picked up the game on a day it was free, I would not hesitate to recommend the app to others even if it was not free.

### 5/5 — Fun and challenging

*2019-01-18*

I like the fact that there are no limits on number of moves. Helps me just think it through without unnecessary pressure.

### 5/5 — Deryckg

*2018-12-11*

Awesome little game to kill time, love it

### 5/5 — Enjoyable game

*2018-05-14*

Once you get the hang of it.

### 5/5 — Love it.

*2018-02-23*

Fun visualization game

### 5/5 — Great game

*2017-07-08*

Challenging enough but to to the point of frustration
