I have perfects on every level except 11-13. This level impossible. I know a lot of people have written about it, but I wish the updates would fix it. The yellow cubes never show up in time. I have been down to no stars and two colors left, but the cue keeps introducing all the other colors and not the ones specifically needed. This error was introduced in an update. Originally I had beaten this level. I lost alll my progress when I switched IPads, and had to start all over again. This level had been incorrectly altered in an update 5 or 6 years ago. I’ve played the first 10 levels but the next won’t unlock. Keeps saying I need to play unlocked levels. The Tournament section never connects, and you have to pay to get beyond World One. You are supposed to be able to watch an ad to get a sample, but every time I tried, it said no ad available, try again later. I tried several times over two weeks, and always got the same result. I am surely not crazy enough to pay them, then. Oh, well. It has been my favorite for many years. I play each level aiming for all perfect scores, and often replay games to win a New Best score. I play against myself until I reach all perfect scores through level 25. I recently deleted the game in order to start over with the goal of making all perfect scores again. Then I delete the game to start all over. The only thing I don't like is having to refuse to play that other game. I did try it but it's too annoying for words. I love this original CUBIS. I can play anywhere, anytime. So I dug out my 2017 receipt showing I again paid for the levels. I contacted support and they had me contact Apple. The receipt I have is from 2015 to IWinn. Apple referred me back to the Dev. The Dev changed hands and changed the game to be compatible with Apple iOS Upgrade and it can't restore because that older version won't play on the current iOS. Anyway, I paid again for Levels 2-4 ($1.99) and it once again unlocked the levels all the way up to level 25. My 2015 purchases were .99 plus .99. I cannot begrudge $4 to play a game that has been entertaining me now for 6 years!!! =========== 2017 Update: After an iPhone crash I had to re-download. All levels were downloaded but levels 2, 3, & 4 were greyed out. I again dug out my receipt and headed over to the Fresh Games, the App Developer. They said Tough Luck. Turns out they bought it from the original developer and refused to honor my previous purchase for those levels. The app does have an option to watch a video in order to unlock each section in each of the 3 levels. So I watched 60 videos over the next few days. Today I downloaded it to my new iPad and they presented as locked up so I will have to watch another 60 videos- or pay another $2 for each level. Not sure why it allowed me to play those 3 levels in 2015 and 2016 and not this year??? Strange. What I do like about this game is the ability to play offline, no pop up ads and no interruption. Just a satisfying experience without the in app purchases required in order to play a game uninterrupted. ================= 2016 Update to this review: i did buy a new iphone and I was able to redownload Cubis. I got up to level 13 last night and that was the end of the levels. So I went into Settings and then Restore Purchases. Now I only have levels 1-11. Levels 12 and 13 vanished. Not only that but a pop up screen says level 25 is now available however it isnt. I dug through my receipts and did pay extra for all the levels up to 25. I am going to take a screen shot and send it to Apple to see if they can do anything about their shady practices. Note: after contacting Apple, all levels were restored! ================= They let me buy 8 add on levels in early 2015 and last month pulled the plug- no refund, no credit. The app won't open on my iTouch 4. They no longer offer an app that runs on iOS 6. Really- how difficult is it to let me download the app version that does work?? Other apps do just that. I emailed support and here's their reply: FreshGames Support, Nov 25, 17:21: Hi iOS 6.1.4 for the iTouch 4 is no longer supported by Apple. You would have to upgrade your OS in order to get the game to work.
