We’ve introduced usernames in this version, making it easier for users to connect and find each other without having to share or enter phone numbers. Users can now simply use their unique Cubrin username to connect, providing a more convenient and private way to build connections on the platform.

We’ve also made significant improvements to the Cubrin chatting system, optimizing the overall messaging experience to make conversations feel faster, smoother, and more responsive. We’ve upgraded the chat experience to be faster and more responsive, giving you a real-time messaging feel. We’ve also refreshed the UI with new font families and made performance improvements to ensure the app runs smoother than ever.

We transitioned from a 15 km radius-based shop search to a city-based discovery system, making it easier for users to discover relevant shops without the app feeling overcrowded or unnecessarily busy.

We also redesigned major parts of the UI to provide a smoother, cleaner, and more intuitive experience. In addition, the chat experience has been significantly enhanced. Users can now do more than just send Split Bills and Pay-for-Me requests they can chat with friends, stay connected, and maintain streaks, making the app more social and engaging.
