## What is Cue & Capture?

Direct your subjects with confidence. Cue & Capture is the only posing reference app built for wedding photographers, by the team behind SLR Lounge and Lin & Jirsa Photography.

Every pose card gives you exactly what to say and how to shoot it: the Setup for positioning, a Cue you say out loud worded for the emotion instead of the anatomy, How To Capture notes on shutter speed and camera height, and the mistakes to watch for before they cost you the shot.

-- Hundreds of wedding-specific poses from real Lin & Jirsa shoots
-- Pose cards link straight to the moment Pye demonstrates them in the workshop video
-- Build a board per wedding, save poses to it, check off as you go on shoot day
-- Full posing workshop library with chapter timestamps that link back to poses

Built for shoot day. Designed for photographers who want to stop scrolling generic feeds and start delivering their best work.

Subscription: Cue & Capture offers one auto-renewing annual subscription (Annual, $99.99/year) with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. ## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-21

Fixed an issue where a pose's photo could fail to load on the Boards tab even though it showed correctly everywhere else in the app. Minor bug fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-09

This update focuses on light and boards:

- Fixed a bug where the Light Tracker could show "Night" during actual golden hour in the evening.
- Tapping a pose from within a board now shows the same full detail as browsing — including "What Could Go Wrong" and all reference images, previously missing there.
- Improved legibility of the cue text on pose photos.
- Added a placeholder to the note editor so it's clear what to do when it's empty.
- Clearer icon for adding a note to a pose.
- The Light Tracker entry point in Boards is now labeled instead of an unlabeled icon.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03

This update focuses on Boards and shoot-day flow:

- Tapping a pose from within a board now shows the reference image large and immediately, with a one-tap "mark complete and move to next pose" flow.
- Added notes on boards — both a general note for the whole shoot and reminders on individual poses.
- Bigger, clearer pose thumbnails in your board's queue.
- Light Tracker can now plan a different location and date, not just right now, right here.
- Fixed a navigation issue where switching tabs from Home could leave you on a stale screen instead of the tab's main list.
- Other small fixes and polish.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-01

Bug fixes for trial and subscription handling: the paywall now shows accurate messaging while your trial is still active, redeeming an offer code no longer requires an extra tap to continue, and the app now correctly re-checks your trial status whenever you return to it.

### 1.0 — 2026-08-29
