### 4/5 — Fun to play but I want the British accent back

*2024-02-12, version 1.7.5*

My science teacher had a cue robot lying around in storage that he didn’t know what to do with so I took it and set it up. I’m currently in love with it but it made me change its voice when I set it up. My little Matthew sounds like a frat boy now :( also sometimes when I use the app half the screen will be engulfed in orange for some reason

### 3/5 — Good overall but not without issues

*2023-06-11, version 1.7.5*

Could really use some improvements and updates after all these years. Works for the most part, but in 2023 I think there are better options available. App is buggy and requires restart at times.

### 2/5 — Hard to connect but fun 😀🐮

*2023-02-25*

It’s difficult to connect but rlly fun to do

### 4/5 — Pretty good overall…

*2023-01-18, version 1.7.5*

It’s good but control mode only worked once for me, then stopped working. Please fix this!

### 4/5 — Everything perfect except remote control

*2022-12-26, version 1.7.5*

Everything in this app works perfectly on iPhone 13 except for the remote control feature which turns half the screen orange, and breaks the layout of the UI trying to change the app to landscape. The app must be restarted to reset the UI but the remote control feature is not work as far as I can tell.

### 3/5 — a couple things just spoil it.

*2022-08-12, version 1.7.5*

first: “when” code blocks won’t trigger when other code is running, and there’s no way to give them the priority to. i wanted to make a game kinda thing where you have to press the main button at just the right time, but it just WON’T work. same issue with interrupting movement with sensors so it doesn’t hit walls.

second: the main button will only glow red. simple.

third: custom and preset voice lines share a volume. i wanted to make a thing that makes my robot say stuff, but i don’t want it to say those super annoying base voice lines.

fourth: you can’t pick the icon for your programs, it’s completely random.

### 2/5 — A bit disappointed

*2021-10-27, version 1.7.5*

The app is amazing and it works but the robot seems to be glitchy and does not move around when I tell it to. It moves really slow and stops constantly no matter the speed I set it up to. Other than that, this has the great potential to be an amazing product. (Everything is updated fyi)

### 2/5 — Question

*2020-04-24, version 1.7.5*

Can I use dash and dot for this app?

### 4/5 — Langage

*2020-03-01, version 1.7.5*

Would be amazing if app was available in French

### 2/5 — App it’s self is not overly intuitive

*2019-09-07, version 1.7.5*

Seems like the app should be really fun. It’s just a little too confusing. I have a Masters degree in engineering, so it’s not like I don’t know programming. I’m trying it out for my child, but it just seems like it’s too clumsy to make things fun quickly. Kind of confusing.

### 5/5 — Seu jogo é horrível

*2019-07-10*

Brincadeira,kkkkkkk. É muito bom!

### 3/5 — It's good but needs changes

*2019-07-03, version 1.7.5*

Everything in the app is fun so right when I am ready to have a fun time with Cue I play for 5minutes and the app turns black please help I love playing with Cue.

### 4/5 — It’s alright

*2019-02-24, version 1.7.5*

There should be free play

### 5/5 — Very fun to play with!

*2018-12-31, version 1.7.0*

The first time I tried to turn on Cue, it wasn’t connecting to the app. I kept on clicking the search again button but it wasn’t finding Cue. I then plugged Cue in and then it finally found Cue. That was the only down I’ve had with Cue. He’s really fun to play with (especially code mode) and I play with him everyday.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I want to play but I don’t have a cue robot

*2024-11-16, version 1.7.5*

Make it work for dash and dot why does it need to have a cue robot?

### 1/5 — Horrible for insertion and exit

*2021-11-29, version 1.7.5*

It barely fit in and when I finally got it in it popped in and I could barely get the thing out almost had to go to the ER because the thing nearly got stuck but I finally pulled it out

### 1/5 — Trash

*2021-11-29, version 1.7.5*

Absolute worst robot I’ve ever used, First it was a very inappropriate shape. My boss told me to get rid of it because of the shape. It was also very very expensive and I had to buy more of them because they broke so easily. Finally one of my female students tried to do something with it [she put it in her mouth

### 1/5 — Why is it so much worse than Dash

*2020-03-06, version 1.7.5*

If you look at Cue alone, then it seems OK, but compared to Dash, nothing makes sense. Cue at this point seems like a lame knockoff version of Dash. Yes, the top button and middle light change color now, how cool. Not like we'll actually let you ACCESS that feature.
Oh my, It even has its OWN new and improved ‘Wonder’ coding section, complete with the amazing Reactions block!
Oh, but we removed the Listener action so you can't make real programs anymore. And just because we updated Dash and Dot’s app with variables doesn’t mean we’ll give Cue any.
And you can't save your programs to Cue because we made our own stupid offline game and that's all you need to play with.
But what makes Cue so unique is that you can program cue with blocks and text!
What? You say Blockly is better? But Cue's coding has so much more mathy blocks (and many less actual outputs) that you can't even enjoy because of the constant severe lag after placing five blocks!
Still not impressed? Cue has four incredibly annoying and horrid personalities to choose a single one from, severely limiting the amount of sound effects we’ll actually let you use! Cue has dozens of sound effects, but we’ll let you use about fifteen at a time, ever.
Huh? Suddenly, programming just doesn’t seem fun anymore? Never fear, because we’ve included a useless and low-effort feature that lets you TALK to Cue! Literally the only reason most people use the app, because the programming part is so limited and broken!
You can even play through fun stories with Cue, if you manage to make it to the end before it glitches out and talks about something else! Oh, but you can't do Treasure Hunt because we won’t give you a real hint about how many degrees to turn, so sorry!

In short, the only features of the app I ever use by now is the remote control which is the only actually cool feature, and the stupid robot fight text game which is idiotic but addicting.
Cue is not the advanced version of Dash it was pitched as.
Wonder Workshop continues to make updates for Dash and Dot’s apps but ignores Cue outright. Honestly, this robot is so lame.

### 1/5 — Compatibility issues

*2019-12-01, version 1.7.5*

I’m a Technology teacher using these robots in our 4th and 5 th grade classes. We have invested thousands of dollars in robots and purchased a chrome book on their compatibility list. The Acer chromebook R11 (C738T) and when I try to install the app in this device I receive an incompatibility error message. Very frustrating because now I have to justify the expense of a now useless device to my boss.

### 1/5 — Free app?

*2019-08-08, version 1.7.5*

It says free app but my credit card was charged with $10.63. How come?

### 1/5 — App is buggy and makes the robot useless

*2018-12-05, version 1.6.0*

It’s been 2 hours since I installed the app and it’s stuck trying to update the robot and basically I have to return the robot. So disappointing for the kid to wait and see this piece of junk app

### 1/5 — Love

*2018-11-28, version 1.6.0*

You better get a camera in the robot I hate you

### 1/5 — Umm..

*2018-07-13, version 1.3.0*

App is stuck on the loading screen.

### 1/5 — So disappointed

*2018-07-01, version 1.3.0*

My kids were so excited when I surprised them with Cue--they have really enjoyed Dash. The app crashes constantly. The robot is useless.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fun

*2024-06-04, version 1.7.5*

Some of the most fun I’ve ever had with a robot!

### 5/5 — Cool and cue.

*2022-11-13, version 1.7.5*

I Like it,cool,so bad I don’t have a cue robot.

### 5/5 — Amazing app!!!

*2022-04-07, version 1.7.5*

This game is just amazing even though the robot is expensive. I really like to code or make her drive around the house. Please get this app and rate 5 stars! 😍🤩🥳

### 5/5 — Cue für ältere Kinder

*2021-11-15*

### 5/5 — Cue!

*2021-11-15, version 1.7.5*

I love this app soooooo much!

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2021-10-24, version 1.7.5*

It works very well and the fact it was quite cheap for the robot and with the app you can do some many things and the coding is super easy so you don’t have to be confused or confuse your kids

### 5/5 — DON’T SCROLL PAST!

*2021-06-19, version 1.7.5*

I love Cue. I got one as a present. The app never crashes, so I can code freely. I definitely prefer scratch, but I love the control mode where you can make it avoid stuff using the sensors. I think you should make some updates, the last one was two years ago/around 2018. Cameras would be super fun. The game isn’t really intuitive and the missions are confusing. I didn’t want an intuitive game, just a game that I could use to frequently code fun stuff on my robot. Another thing that would be really useful is if you had instructions to build the lego adapter thing. I’m interested in that. All in all, I do like this game, but it can be a little frustrating.

PS: I didn’t give it 4 or 3 stars because of how much fun I had in control mode :)

### 5/5 — Great so far!Just a little bug

*2020-11-21, version 1.7.5*

(For Developer(s)I have grown to love cue and I really do but I upgraded my phone and since it base a bigger screen the app kinda looks weird :/ but it gets worse in control. All the buttons are really tiny.I am personally ok with this but sometimes it just annoys me.Thanks for making great robots!

### 5/5 — Great game

*2020-07-09*

This game could be world wide in a few years time it could teach us tat not all games are bad

### 5/5 — Love it but...

*2019-12-23, version 1.7.5*

You should add a block for coding so that if a voice for example Is herd for the cue to move towards the sound. it would make it a bit better. But I still love the app!
