## What is Cue Events?

Scheduling a group event shouldn't require a dozen messages back and forth. Cue makes it simple: propose a few times, invite your group, and let everyone respond in their own words. Then AI finds the best time for everyone.

How it works

1. Create an event and add a few proposed times
2. Invite the people you want to meet with
3. Everyone responds naturally — "Wednesday works great, Thursday I'm free after 3"
4. AI analyzes all responses and recommends the best time
5. Confirm with one tap and everyone gets notified

Respond naturally
Forget rigid polls and checkboxes. With Cue, participants describe their availability in plain language — just like texting a friend. Say what works, what doesn't, and what you'd prefer. The AI understands it all.

AI-powered recommendations
Cue uses AI to read every response, weigh hard constraints against soft preferences, and recommend the time that works best for the most people. You'll see a clear breakdown of why each time was scored the way it was — fully transparent, never a black box.

Real-time updates
See responses as they come in. Get notified when someone replies, when an event is finalized, or when plans change. No refreshing, no checking back — Cue keeps everyone in sync.

Built for real life
  - Update your response anytime before the event is finalized
  - Decline an event and rejoin later if plans change
  - Reopen a finalized event if you need to reschedule
  - Cancel events and automatically notify everyone
  - Works in any language

Whether you're planning a team meeting, a dinner with friends, or a weekend trip — Cue takes the friction out of finding a time that works for everyone.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.33 — 2026-09-27

- Stay signed in: Cue no longer signs you out over a brief connection drop or when it opens while your iPhone is still locked
- Tapping a notification takes you exactly where it points — a mention opens the chat it was made in
- Choosing a cover for an event or trip is clearer: uploads show their progress, can be stopped or retried, and the photo grid keeps its shape
- More privacy: finding people matches names and @handles only, never email addresses, and profile pictures can no longer be browsed by outsiders
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 1.32 — 2026-09-21

- Share to Cue from any app: photos, videos, PDFs and links land straight in a chat, a trip's album or documents, or your library
- Reconnecting quietly: coming back to the app no longer flashes a status, and the new glass indicator appears only for real outages and never covers what you're reading
- Chats: a message that failed to send can be copied or discarded, reactions count correctly when you re-pick an emoji, and sending the same photo twice no longer breaks the thread
- Videos in the viewer play with sound even when your ringer is off, and hand your music back when you're done
- Invites, uploads, decisions and album changes now report exactly what didn't go through instead of failing silently
- Signing out now clears everything Cue kept on the device: cached photos, notifications, synced calendar events and widgets
- VoiceOver no longer reads out icon names, and the trip Live Activity always shows the right day
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 1.31 — 2026-08-21

- Fixed a crash when opening the app by tapping a notification
- Cue now recognizes you the instant it opens, so messages and reactions sent right after launch go through reliably
- Sending before the app has finished connecting now shows a clear message instead of silently doing nothing
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 1.30 — 2026-08-20

- Profile pictures now load reliably in chats — no more initials appearing mid-conversation where someone's photo should be
- Avatars load once and stay cached, so conversations render faster and use less data
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

### 1.29 — 2026-08-19

- Say more when you're free — the event response field now takes multiple lines, keeps your formatting, and marks itself saved with a checkmark
- Ride out a dropped connection — Cue quietly retries instead of showing an error, then catches up on whatever you missed the moment you're back
- A new banner appears only when you're genuinely offline, and tells you when you're back online
- Lists no longer claim to be empty when they simply couldn't load — Chats, Channels, Notifications, Photos and Files now say what went wrong and offer Try Again
- Photos in chat load faster and use far less data
- PDFs you've opened once reopen instantly, even with no connection
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
