## What is Cue?

Cue helps you keep track of movies and TV shows you want to watch, and figures out what you should watch next.

Save titles for later, mark them as watched, and rate what you've seen. The more you use it, the better Cue gets: Top Picks, daily recommendations, and genre shelves built from your own taste, computed entirely on your device.

Browse trending titles, new releases, and genres when you're looking for something to watch, with IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes scores, plus streaming availability where supported. Search by title, actor, or director, or by tag, like "time travel" or "heist."

Follow actors and directors to keep up with their work, get notified when something new comes out, or set a reminder for an upcoming release. And when a show you've finished starts a new season, Cue marks it and lets you know.

Features:

• Personal recommendations: Top Picks, Recommended for Today, and Because You Watched, all computed on your device
• Save movies and TV shows to watch later
• Browse any streaming service for titles matched to your taste
• Mark titles as watched, rate them, and filter your favorites
• New-season alerts for shows you've finished
• IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes scores
• See where titles are available to stream
• Discover trending titles, new releases, and genres
• Search by title, person, or tag
• Follow actors and directors with release alerts
• Reminders for upcoming releases
• Import from popular movie tracking and watchlist apps.

### 5/5 — Finally switched after 15 years

*2026-06-18*

I’ve tried a lot of movie tracking apps over the years and cue is the first one that’s actually beautiful, simple and powerful enough to stick with. I had more than 15 years of watch history in another app, so I wasn’t planning to switch, but importing everything was easy and took away the only thing holding me back.
