## What is Cuefold?

Flub a line? Don't stop. Just say it again.

Cuefold is a teleprompter camera that edits for you. Read your script to camera in one take, restart any line as often as you like, and Cuefold cuts out the retakes automatically, keeping your best read of every line. No timeline, no editing app, no starting over.

Made for creators, founders, teachers and anyone who talks to camera: short-form and long-form videos, vlogs, product demos, pitches, course lessons and team updates.

CLEAN CUT: AUTOMATIC RETAKE EDITING
• Record your whole script in one continuous take
• Cuefold matches what you say to your script and keeps the last good read of each line
• Swipe any line to hear your other takes and choose a different one
• Pauses tightened and joins smoothed, ready to post

A TELEPROMPTER THAT FEELS NATURAL
• Script sits right under the lens so you keep eye contact
• Voice Follow scrolls as you speak and eases back when you restart a line
• Adjust speed, text size and font; mirror mode for glass teleprompter rigs
• 3-2-1 countdown, front or back camera, 1080p or 4K
• Start and stop with the volume buttons, Camera Control or a Bluetooth remote; page-turners move the script
• Import scripts from Files: text, PDF, RTF or Markdown
• Shoot vertical, square or widescreen for TikTok, Instagram or YouTube
• Works with Portrait background blur and Studio Light
• Start from Siri: "Record with Cuefold"

CAPTIONS SPELLED RIGHT
• Captions use your script's exact spelling, so names, brands and jargon are always correct
• Bold short-video style: big words, the one you're saying highlighted, or a classic lower third
• Burn them into the video or export an .srt subtitle file

READY TO POST
• One tap to TikTok, Instagram or YouTube with a caption ready to paste
• Cuefold listens in your script's language

IPHONE, IPAD AND IPHONE DUO
• Works on iPhone and iPad, with a roomy two-pane layout on iPad
• On iPhone Duo, read your script on the outer screen while the main camera films you, with the two-pane layout on the large inner screen

CUEFOLD PRO
• No Cuefold watermark
• Captions and .srt export
• 4K video
• Unlimited scripts and extra prompter fonts
• AI script writer: describe your video and get a ready-to-read script, written on your device by Apple Intelligence
• Script tools: tighten to 30, 45 or 60 seconds and write a stronger first line (on devices with Apple Intelligence)

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No ads. Speech recognition runs entirely on your device, and your scripts and videos never leave it. The only thing Cuefold sends is anonymous usage data (which features you use, how long Clean Cut takes), and you can turn that off in Settings.

Free: unlimited recording, the teleprompter with Voice Follow, Clean Cut (with a small watermark) and 3 scripts.

Need one video without Pro? Buy a single Clean Cut export without a watermark, with no subscription.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.5 — 2026-11-05

Clean Cut now works much better in Japanese and Chinese.
If Clean Cut can't find your lines, it now listens to the saved take again and tells you what it heard: the language it listened in and what to try next.
Choose the language you read in, right from Clean Cut.
Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-11-04

If you turn off renewal, Cuefold now shows when Pro ends, what it did for you this month, and a one-tap way to keep it.
If a Pro payment doesn't go through, a banner tells you and shows how to update it.
New: an optional weekly reminder to record, on the day and time you last recorded. Turn it on after an export or in Settings.
Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-28

Your first video is quicker to make. Record the sample script straight from the welcome screens, or tap Record on it in your script list.
On your first take, the record screen shows what to do: read to the camera, and if you flub a line, just say it again.
A script you open and leave blank no longer sits at the top of your list.
Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-26

Got an offer code? Redeem it in Settings or on the Cuefold Pro screen.
After your first Clean Cut, Cuefold may ask you for a rating. It takes a second and helps a lot.
Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-17

Cuefold now speaks Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese, and Clean Cut listens in your script's language.
Need one video without Pro? Buy a single watermark-free export for $2.99.
Try captions on any take before you subscribe.
A new Usage data setting lets you choose whether to share anonymous usage data.
Plus fixes.
