## What is Cuethelights?

Cuelight is a field-ready teleprompter and creator rehearsal tool built for people who film talking-head videos, lessons, announcements, product demos, and voiceover scripts.

Paste or draft a script, mark the delivery beats, set your pace, rehearse the timing, and record with a prompter overlay when you are ready to roll. Cuelight keeps the workflow local and focused so creators can stay connected to the lens instead of wrestling with a cluttered setup.

New pro tools in Cuelight 2.1:
- Director Brief creates an offline shoot-readiness score for the selected script
- Score components break down delivery clarity, cue coverage, practice signal, and camera-readiness
- Next Actions turn weak spots into a concrete rehearsal plan
- Shoot Gate checks the hook pass, breath map, pace lock, line polish, and camera proof
- Creator Playbooks provide practical run-of-show cards for hooks, breath mapping, B-roll planning, short-form cutdowns, product demos, voiceover arcs, and final-take readiness

Core teleprompter features:
- Script library for reusable reads
- Adjustable scroll speed, text size, line height, and color presets
- Cue markers for breath, pause, gesture, emphasis, notes, and section bookmarks
- Practice takes with target runtime and self-ratings
- Recording history with pace, pause, mirror, and camera-run metadata
- Camera recording with prompter overlay
- Mirror-friendly display options for camera rigs
- Import, edit, duplicate, and export scripts
- Export to PDF, plain text, or SRT captions
- On-device smart pace when enabled by the user
- iPhone and iPad support

Cuelight is local-first. It does not require an account, subscription, analytics SDK, or network service. Camera, microphone, speech recognition, and photo library access are used only for the features the user chooses to run.
