## What is Cuevello Remote Menu & Screen?

Cuevello turns your device into a fast local control surface for the Mac you already use.

Pair your Mac locally, stream a monitor or app window, browse the menu of the active app, run menu commands, trigger keyboard shortcuts, open URLs, send text to the Mac clipboard, switch apps, and save repeatable routines as workflows.

Cuevello is made for the small Mac actions that interrupt your flow: checking a build, watching the iOS Simulator from iPad, opening a project URL, exporting a file, pasting text into a Mac app, dismissing a blocking dialog, or starting a prepared automation from across the room.

Cuevello 1.4 brings dedicated audio streaming, faster access to workflows, and more control while streaming.

- Stream audio from your entire Mac, the current app, or a selected app without transmitting video. Audio can continue in the background, and the Mac can optionally be muted while streaming.
- New workflow steps let you start an audio stream and mute or unmute the Mac's audio output.
- Run workflows directly from an active Screen stream and follow their progress and result with new status indicators.
- On Mac, launch saved workflows from Cuevello's menu bar status item.
- Find and run workflows from Spotlight. Compatible workflows can run in the background without opening Cuevello.
- The redesigned stream overview provides clearer status and settings, along with the connected Mac's display wallpaper where available.
- A Mac can now require the Extra Authorization password for a specific paired device even when the global Local or Private Relay rules allow password-free access. This device-specific protection applies to both connection types and all protected actions.
- This update also includes reliability improvements and smaller fixes throughout the app.

Cuevello 1.3 focuses on secure remote access, clearer connection status, and safer protected actions.

- Connect to your Mac from outside your local network with the optional self-hosted Cuevello Relay.
- Extra Authorization can protect Screen streaming, Files, and Workflows with an additional password.
- Screen streams can now include Mac audio, with a fullscreen mute control and a default audio setting.
- New Screen quality profiles improve Retina text clarity, original-resolution testing, and adaptive streaming.
- Local and Relay connections can use separate protection rules and configurable authorization sessions.
- Pairing and Mac connection details have been refined, including QR code image import on Mac Catalyst.
