### 3/5 — Separate multiple accounts

*2026-07-02, version 3.7.16*

Please make an option to separate multiple accounts on the main page. I want to see the data for my home but can only see a different house I own with tenants.

### 2/5 — Wifi doesn’t work at all

*2026-02-16, version 3.7.15*

Not much to add. It just stopped working. Defeats the point of having a smart device if the smart device isn’t connecting.

### 3/5 — Unreliable App

*2026-01-11, version 3.7.15*

Not A Solid Performer- right now, with away mode turned off, it is reporting unexpected water flow alarm. Of course we have water flow- we are home. It does detect flow reliably. But it alarms when it shouldn’t so it doesn’t give any peace of mind. And it is super slow acting even at top signal strength.

### 2/5 — Overall disappointed.

*2025-11-04, version 3.7.14*

Culligan has been around long enough that the following should not occur. I’ve had the system for 1.5 yrs and the app is so buggy and unreliable. It’s horrible to try and connect to WiFi upon setup, doesn’t accurately track usage, not flow but daily use carries over from one day to the next resulting in inaccurate water use and therefore gallons per regeneration are incorrect. The alarm for water use while in away mode is useless because of the lag in recognizing water is flowing or not (water will have been turned off for 30 min and still show it’s flowing). I’ve forgotten I had the system in away, ran a few gallons and the alarm never notified me there was flow (indicative of a leak in away mode). I used the bypass in the app and because on a couple of occasions it wouldn’t activate, I stopped using it out of fear I wouldn’t get it out of bypass. Does the system soften water? Yes— but I paid for connectivity, too, and the idea that Culligan has been in the business long enough it should be near perfect.

### 3/5 — Mostly good but flawed

*2025-10-14, version 3.7.12*

Good for monitoring water softening to know throughput. Bypass good for when on vacation works fine.

That said, the salt level monitoring does not work. Mine says 78% full, checked and salt level was at less than 5%.

Also the Away function has a bug as it kept reporting a water alarm when the only throughput is the nominal 1 gallon per day the water softening system itself flushes that 1 gallon through daily. Useless function. Just put system in bypass if you don’t want false alarms.

### 4/5 — Good App

*2025-09-29, version 3.7.12*

This app is very helpful in monitoring our water usage, except it doesn’t reset the salt level unless you regenerate, which is annoying. I would like a way to reset the salt level manually.

### 1/5 — Bad app and service

*2025-09-28, version 3.7.12*

The app is a waste of space. Water softener is never connected and takes 30 minutes at least to get it done. I’m better off just calling Culligan to solve any issues. Avoid this app.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2025-09-16, version 3.7.11*

The app does not work correctly in order to get it to refresh. You have to completely close it and open it back up again. Occasionally, it will work correctly and you can turn the bypass on, but for the most part you can’t. Recently, Culligan had issues with their servers and didn’t inform any customers and it wasn’t until I called Culligan that I found out that they had server issues causing our system to use a lot of salt when it should’ve been on bypass, but because the system was not working correctly and no one from Culligan told us that we wasted a great deal of salt. The company needs to be more transparent about issues they may be having.

### 3/5 — Loose information

*2025-09-05, version 3.7.11*

Does not keep my information in account settings keeps changing to Canada. Why ? Plus does not change amount of water usage at midnight

### 1/5 — App is flaky at best

*2025-09-01, version 3.7.11*

I have the HE system for about 1.5 years. It is hit or miss on app data. It will bypass system but app says it us normal. I have to often go to system to bypass. I also was told no one else has this problem and based on reviews not true. Last few updates made it worse not better. Bypassing and unbypassing through app was a critical feature I wanted. My Internet is screaming fast the issue is Culligan. I wish they would own it and fix their connectivity issues.

### 1/5 — App randomly deleted my system

*2025-07-28, version 3.7.11*

Wondered why I hadn’t gotten a salt level warning from the app in some time. Checked the tank and nearly empty. Opened the app and my system is no longer listed on my account. I have no idea what happened that my water softener got removed from my account but I have to add it back and there are no instruction on how to do it in the manual for my model. I better not have to pay a tech to come fix what Culligan broke.

### 1/5 — Worst App Ever

*2025-07-26, version 3.7.11*

Every time I see a new update come thru I get excited thinking they are going to fix the app, but disappoiment after disappointment. You have to close out/shutdown the app every time in order to get updated usage

### 2/5 — Don’t buy the HE Smart

*2025-07-23, version 3.7.10*

The softener itself works well, but the “smart” features have been a major disappointment. The app is unreliable—Wi-Fi connectivity constantly drops, the bypass function doesn’t work from the phone, and the salt level indicator shows “OK” even when the tank is nearly empty. I end up having to manage everything manually. I paid extra for the smart version expecting convenience, but instead it’s been a frustrating experience and a poor use of my hard-earned money.

### 3/5 — Love The Idea

*2025-07-13, version 3.7.10*

Bypass does not always work. No feedback as to why it has failed. Can’t get it fixed because of this. Otherwise, I would love this idea.

### 1/5 — Worthless app

*2025-07-11, version 3.7.10*

Definitely in the top 3 of the worst apps of all time…

### 2/5 — App is wonky.

*2025-07-04, version 3.7.10*

Have to delete and reinstall app on a weekly basis to get updated usage data. Also, my router is 20 feet from unit and app always has WiFi
strength noted as “poor”.

### 1/5 — Deceptive Company

*2025-06-12, version 3.7.10*

Culligan is a deceptive company. I have 2 Aquasential HE smart systems. Also have 2 RO systems. They rarely work. Always dropping signal. Unable to access them to engage bypass. One softener introduces air into my house waterlines every time the by pass is engaged. I’ve had these systems for almost 2 years. Maybe had functioning systems 4 months of that time. Every time someone comes to replace or fix them the tech has no idea why they are here and never have the replacement equipment or parts. They send another tech and the same thing happens, no parts and no equipment. They will say anything to me to try and convince me it’s something other than their faulty equipment. The app is absolutely trash. Stay away from this company and never pay for your system in full. They will only give you loaner equipment if you’re renting. Otherwise they will take what you’ve paid for and not give you a loaner and you’ll be without equipment and without the money you paid for it. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! It’s fraudulent the way they keep leading me on without repairs or replacing faulty equipment.

### 1/5 — Constantly disconnecting from Culligan and WIFI - connection poorly designed

*2025-05-17, version 3.7.9*

Have had to constantly reconnect to the Culligan systems - very unstable connection to the host system

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Need to improve from 2.4 to 5.0 or 5.6.

*2026-07-23, version 3.7.17*

Every time I lose power, I have to redo this getting it to hook up at 2.4 never happens. I lose connection all the time you really need to look at this app because it doesn’t work the way one would think it was for what we’re paying.

### 1/5 — Thing never stays connected

*2026-04-15, version 3.7.15*

Had this smart system about 2 years maybe 3. It last nice in theory but the thing is never connected. It’s the only device in my smart home that is consistently disconnecting. I have to go and manually reconnect the wifi on it frequently and it only lasts a few days before dropping again. Was a very expensive purchase I regret when I could have gotten a lower model for 1/2 the price

### 1/5 — Can’t connect with wifi

*2026-04-07, version 3.7.15*

The app say need to connect with wifi of the culligan tank, and it always say can not connect to device

### 1/5 — The app is terrible

*2026-04-03, version 3.7.15*

I’ve had this Culligan system for a couple years now. When I first had it installed, the technician and I tried to connect my phone to this app and was unsuccessful after many attempts. We finally gave up trying to connect. The tech ended up leaving and asking me to call the office for advice ! Huh!?!?
Anyway, after my call to the office was unsuccessful, I just told them I would try on my own, cuz it seemed like I knew more about apps and connectivity than anyone working there. I soon forgot all about it. Fast forward to now. Tried connecting , still no success. I give up.

### 1/5 — Buy a different Water Softener

*2026-04-01, version 3.7.15*

Within a few years your softener will just become incompatible and unsupported

### 1/5 — Culligan Connect

*2026-02-16, version 3.7.15*

This app quit working when I updated to the new app, it’s no longer compatible?

### 1/5 — Worst App on the Apple Store

*2025-12-12, version 3.7.14*

I don’t even know where to begin, other than you need to shutdown the app every time in order to get a updated flow reading and even when you do that it could be 2:00 pm and the app still says you haven’t used a single gallon of water yet for the day, even though you flushed the toilet 3 times, took a shower and did 2 loads of laundry

### 1/5 — Fix your app!

*2025-10-11, version 3.7.12*

My dashboard shows that I’m using 5000-6000 gallons each day however the history shows 0. The dashboard also shows the regeneration is supposed to happen tonight, everyday. As soon as I open the app, it also shows a flow rate even though no water is running. After a few minutes, the flow rate disappears and says us system normal. The salt level percentage is NEVER right either. The day after it was filled, it still said 30%. When it was practically empty, it said 30%. This app is trash!!!

### 1/5 — Smart HE softener app does not respond to bypass settings

*2025-10-01, version 3.7.12*

I need the app to control the bypass schedule around my sprinkler/irrigation system schedule. Lately the Culligan system is not communicating or responding to requests made through the app to bypass the system. It says bypass turning on, the wheel spins for about a minute and then does not turn on bypass. I tried closing and restarting the app. That did not solve the issue. I tried removing and reinstalling the app. After reinstalling the app, I attempted to bypass and now I get a message that reads “failed to fulfill bypass request, please try again later.” The app is useless unless Culligan can fix this issue.

### 1/5 — Worthless!

*2025-09-29, version 3.7.12*

Gets worst with every update since June and I have contacted both parties company got from and the app people no help But there no number to talk to ceo or email.cures they know it no good and don’t want hear.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Regenerate from the app

*2026-04-19, version 3.7.15*

I needed to do a regeneration. I used my app to get it done. It started as soon as I pushed the button. Works great!

### 5/5 — Culligan connect

*2025-12-27, version 3.7.15*

It’s nice to see what’s going on with my equipment once I’m out of the home. Also love the water usage tracker

### 5/5 — Helps us know how much water we drink

*2024-11-26, version 3.7.6*

I love how the app tells me how much water our family drinks each day.

### 5/5 — Regen schedule

*2024-11-25, version 3.7.6*

It’s good it lists the next regen and you can force one.
It would be great if you could set the time of day for the regen. Midnight is not always convenient.

### 5/5 — Review

*2024-08-05, version 3.7.3*

Sure nice to know what your system is doing. Able to have it keep an eye on things when away. Great app.

### 5/5 — App recommendation

*2024-08-01, version 3.7.3*

PLEASE update the app so that there is a way to schedule bypass times for the smart HE (water softener) system. So that I can schedule the bypass at the same time that my irrigation system runs and not ruin my lawn or inconvenience myself with having to do it in real time. The bypass device does not work unless you have a main line switch which a lot of people do not have on their systems. Being able to schedule the bypass will fix this problem. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Pretty helpful app

*2024-04-07, version 3.7.1*

I like to know how much water my house uses

### 5/5 — Owner

*2024-01-15, version 3.6.4*

Purchased and had Culligan install a complete Smart HE water system with reverse osmosis. So far you could not ask for better equipment and customer service personnel. Yes it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Our city water is very hard and full of rust. The difference between a big box store water softener and a Culligan whole house system is night and day. Thanks Culligan!

### 5/5 — Peace of mind

*2023-12-19, version 3.6.4*

Love knowing that my equipment is working and doing the job I paid for it to do.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2023-07-31, version 3.6.1*

This app is very easy to use and I love that it keeps track of how much water we use.
