I was interested enough from the cuny websites of blackboard and degreeworks to download this and within 5 seconds of logging in, the app crashes!! Can’t change term, thinks I’m a student and says I have no classes. I can use the browser version and myInfo shows me the class I’m teaching and all other relevant information. App crashes. Additionally it notifies multiple times at once when there is class for previous semesters. Reminders do not stop when semester is over. I do like it for Quick Look at schedule and to see what books are required. But the constant irrelevant notifications do not make it worth keeping ### 1/5 — Terrible App *2024-01-27* This app has too many glitches. It is not worth getting it kicks you out of the app anytime you click on your account. It crashes when selecting financial information or even information about yourself. Who wants to keep using sn app that closes down when you’re trying to view information. I might as well logon to CUNYfirst. It doesn’t show all of the classes. Why does it even exist? Is this what the tuition hikes have allotted to the students? This app is useless. Need to write PW everytime you sing in. ### 1/5 — Outdated and Crash-prone *2020-06-26, version 2.0* This app is flawed for the following reasons: - UI is very uninspired and boring. It feels like something out of the 2000’s rather than 2020. - When clicking on “My Information” of the “More” section, the app crashes. I am using an IPhone 11 by the way. - It is tedious how we have to log on at the start of the app, but the password isn’t there already (meaning that you have to look for your notes/Google passwords) just to enter a password everytime you start this app. A “Save/Remember Password” would make things less tedious - App is outdated and feels to keep up with the times. Where’s the use of Face ID or Touch ID that people use with most apps? Where’s the implementation of Dark Mode (which is useful to strain eyes of people less)? - Obviously the app is designed for IPhone 8 and earlier, since the screen isn’t meant for IPhone X and above or an IPad The app would have been decent in 2000’s (except the crashing) but it hasn’t aged well right now and as a result, feels too primitive. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works Fine For Me *2018-01-30, version 1.6* No idea what everyone else is talking about (the log in). But anyway, it convenient, I see all my classes (since I forget the class sections etc). It tells me what books I need and it also gives me a reminder on my phone 15min before classes start which I love ! ### 5/5 — Finally *2016-08-28, version 1.3* It's amazing it still need some work but overall it's a well organized app for classes. ### 5/5 — Great App *2016-01-28, version 1.2* Works fine for me!! I love the fact that I don't have to go all the way to CUNYfirst to get my semester class info - it's all right here!!! Also shows today's schedule. The campus maps are great for new students. ### 4/5 — Gets the job done *2018-09-03, version 1.6* It doesn’t crash, it’s straightforward. Can’t do everything on it and it isn’t the prettiest app, but it gets he job done. You can look up your classes, financial aid, holds, grades, textbooks, the academic calendar, your information on file, and the campus map. It has what’s needed. Anything else, just visit the desktop site. It works. ### 4/5 — Finally! *2016-01-28, version 1.2* Worked perfectly fine for me! I wish the financial aid section had the disbursement dates also included, but otherwise a great app. 4 stars because of lack of disbursement dates, but otherwise a super handy app. ### 4/5 — Good App but Crashes *2016-01-27, version 1.2* This app shows you the basics. Very good for the first few days of class when you have to access your schedule. But, every time I click on Textbooks the app crashes. Also, We should be allowed to use our fingerprints to sign in. Typing in the password every time is kind of annoying.
