We needed help very quickly and was slightly hesistant at first using an app to find carers but everyone we found turned out to be amazing. My father sadly died and we had a service agreement already paid for two waking nights. I presumed getting a refund would be troublesome but sent through the details and was refunded within an hour. I’ve made several really good matches—some who have been with me for a while, regularly check in, and whose companionship I genuinely enjoy. That said, you do have to vet carers carefully.
