This app is the CurbSmart Pro app, which is designed for school teachers, faculty, and staff. Accounts for this version are created by your school administrator using your school email address. If you’re trying to create an account to pick up a student at a school that uses CurbSmart, please download the CurbSmart Parent app instead. We’re happy to help! ### 1/5 — I hate it *2023-11-16* Bullish ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-11-04* This app is terrible for dismissal options even after their latest update. We have been suffering with this app for over a year now. Constant freezing, crashing and having to restart in the middle of dismissal. When using the app it’s interface is not responsive when trying to input numbers using an iPhone 11. Never have issues with phone using any other app as far as simply inputting numbers into the system. There are 2 of us that swap duties using our own phone and we both experience the same issues. Can’t seem to handle large schools. Made our dismissal process slower. Not worth $1800/yr ### 2/5 — Great when it’s working and/or online *2021-05-10* We had several issues with CurbSmart during dismissal. We have been using it for over 1 year. We had issues like the server being down to lagging input or the app not working at all. It’s far from perfect and it would be nice to have a backup server in place as a start. I would not depend on it. I wouldn’t mind the issues if it was for free. But charging customers for a beta software is unprofessional and unacceptable. We called names of students on a walkie talkie each day and often got cut off by others speaking at the same time. Curbsmart has made our dismissal process seamless, innovative, more private, and affords us the ease that comes with the use of technology. Our teachers love it, the parents love it, and the students are safely called to our car pick up area accounting for each student going home each day. To the makers of Curbsmart….Kudos! ### 5/5 — Best Afterschool Solution Available *2023-07-24* We looked at many other solutions before deciding on CurbSmart for our after-school dismissal. The choice was easy, very customizable for our specific campus, cost, every scenario thought of, and outstanding communications and support from the CurbSmart staff. This solution has made our after-school dismissal a breeze, more efficient, easy to use, reliable, and more accountability & student safety. Things work smoothly, and we typically just reach out for the things that you only do a handful of times a year, since it can be easy to forget. And they are always so nice, and super quick to help. We are a large district and have had no issues with lag or speed with this product but did with a previous product.
