### 2/5 — Good but not great

*2026-08-26, version 1.8.5*

It does a good job of describing the piece but the comparable examples are not in English or in US dollars rendering them meaningless for comparison.

### 4/5 — Review

*2026-08-18, version 1.8.5*

I like this app but I don’t like that I can’t send more than 1 picture at a time for certain items I’d like to show the front and back or full picture and bottom if a vase .

### 3/5 — Good and bad

*2026-08-10, version 1.8.4*

I like the app a lot but have to transfer single file at I time I have close to 2000 items

### 3/5 — Review

*2026-08-09, version 1.8.4*

If this site would allow more than one photograph of an item, then we could get more of an accurate evaluation. I can only seem to send one photo at a time and it always gives me evaluations that are not really correct

### 5/5 — Antique detector

*2026-07-25, version 1.8.4*

Absolutely wonderful app to have when thrifting

### 3/5 — ID good.

*2026-07-21*

This app does a pretty good job of identifying antiques and their origins. Sometimes, however, it’s way off base and identifies silver poorly. The worst part of this app is its market value estimations. Everything is $50-$150. Everything and considering the state of the antiques market currently these prices are way over blown. It would be helpful if you could put in information that you already know about a piece before it does its analysis. For instance, I had a silver dish from pre-1914 and the app identified it as 1950s silver plate. Once I entered the additional information that it was pre-1914 with no identification on the back other than hallmarks ,it identified it as Sterling from England and guess what ,the current value was $100-$150. Useful for ID only.

### 5/5 — Harvest Time

*2026-07-17, version 1.8.4*

I love this app, I always get excellent information about my pieces.

### 5/5 — Very informative

*2026-07-16, version 1.8.4*

I love how this app provides so much history on items that are searched. It helps me to understand how to price any items that I may want to buy or sell.

### 5/5 — Large terra cotta floor vase

*2026-07-12, version 1.8.4*

Gave a quick value

### 5/5 — Amazing results!

*2026-07-08*

I have been amazed at the ease of use, organization & accuracy of this app in finding a match and providing the history of each item I photograph! Curio makes it so easy to find similar items to know what value to place on your own items. The price evaluations give a good range but seem a bit high compared to similar items I’ve actually found for sale. However, for me, this app exceeds my expectations and I would fully recommend it!

### 5/5 — A 2 piece set for France

*2026-07-06, version 1.8.4*

Loved the quick response

### 5/5 — Curio

*2026-06-29, version 1.8.4*

Love this app

### 5/5 — Best app I’ve seen

*2026-06-28*

For the far the best antique identifier ! Pretty amazed by how powerful and precise it is

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2026-06-26*

I’ve tried a couple of antique identification applications and they all seem to fall short in different areas. This one is exactly what I was looking for. It is very straightforward and easy to use and especially like the ability to set up collections. This way I have been able to locate items very quickly.

### 5/5 — Treasure Hunting

*2026-06-23, version 1.8.4*

Curio hones my treasure hunting skills and identifies things I might not have seen. Indispensable!
Thanks!

### 5/5 — Pretty spot on

*2026-06-21, version 1.8.4*

This app is amazing, dealing in antiques for a decade and this helps me from spending hours of research

### 5/5 — Curio Review

*2026-06-20, version 1.8.4*

Great way to get information for my various items.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Making a lot of errors on silver

*2026-08-21, version 1.8.5*

It’s Sterling on silver plate

### 1/5 — Claude is more in-depth

*2026-08-05, version 1.8.4*

Claude is more in-depth in getting detailed information… and free

### 1/5 — Garbage!

*2026-07-19, version 1.8.4*

Google image search or Claude so far better than this app. I wasted money trying Curio. I never use it having found it generally just sucks.

### 1/5 — Cannot recommend

*2026-06-11, version 1.8.3*

Wrong item searched and cannot be reliable

### 1/5 — No free trial

*2026-05-24, version 1.8.3*

I download this app to see how accurate it was. When I opened it, it insisted on charging me while promising I could cancel any time. When I compared two items that I had physically appraised against the app, the app gave an extremely low price. When I went to cancel it, it only cancels it starting next year. Nowhere did it allow me to trial the app and I want my money back.

### 1/5 — $20k painting valued at $300-$600

*2026-05-01, version 1.8.3*

Absolutely unreliable.

### 1/5 — Identification

*2026-04-09, version 1.8.1*

I just paid for a year with Curio. The last 3 items I asked for identification were wrong. I’m glad it was only 19.99 for a year.
I’m very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Incorrect identification

*2026-04-02, version 1.8.1*

For my very first scan with this app, I tested it by taking a picture of an item that I know a lot about. The app misidentified and vastly undervalued the item. That would be OK if the UI provided an opportunity to offer a correction or to reject the incorrect label, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't. Why would you pay for something inacurate?

### 1/5 — Paywall misleading and false information

*2026-03-31, version 1.8.1*

Very bad at showing pricing information. It is misleading the users and accidentally get subscribed to unwanted plan and gives false information ℹ️

### 1/5 — Testing 1,2,3.

*2026-03-24, version 1.8.1*

I tested this app against my 1700’s quarter sawn oak armoire which I paid $28,000 for several years ago. Its value in the app is $1,900. Comparing to others valued in this search, it looks nothing like them. This is a fail.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wow

*2026-08-25, version 1.8.5*

this thing is accurate!!!!!!!

### 5/5 — More accurate than some apps

*2026-08-25*

This identifier correctly identifies what I show it more than others I’ve tried. I wish I could give it a second look to adjust the results sometimes, but 5/5 stars anyways.

### 5/5 — Spot on

*2026-08-19, version 1.8.5*

I have been using this app for 8 months now and the accuracy is phenomenal. I even test the feedback to my books and it’s rarely wrong. Make sure you take the pictures clearly and in good lighting. Even if I’m not buying a product just reading the history of the piece is cool!

### 5/5 — The best app

*2026-08-16, version 1.8.4*

Can’t beat this app for accuracy.

### 5/5 — Curio review

*2026-08-15, version 1.8.4*

It is a feasy way to see the value of items. Recommended for anyone.

### 5/5 — Enjoying this App

*2026-08-15, version 1.8.4*

At first, I wasn’t sure about this app because I thought you could only identify objects by photograph but then I reached out to customer support and they explained how you could add additional information via text that made all the difference!

### 5/5 — Value

*2026-08-12, version 1.8.4*

Helps me realize the worth of my items.

### 5/5 — Loving the evaluations

*2026-08-04, version 1.8.4*

It’s fun and informative to learn more about the items you own or inherited. Some are worth a great deal more and others that I believed were valuable, are just something interesting that I inherited or bought.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-02, version 1.8.4*

Love this app more accurate than Google

### 5/5 — Lots of Surprises

*2026-07-31, version 1.8.4*

Since using Curio I’ve discovered many hidden, valuable treasures in my own home. Helpful when shopping thrift/antique stores. Useful pricing guide. The “History” piece adds to the app. I also like the links to similar items on the internet. Should be used often to make this a great app for the cost.
