A better tutorial showing players how to make some of the different shots and what those shots are called would be good. The power of a shot is something that needs improvement. Using upper thumb to aim and determine power leaves you blind to where the shot will go. Limited online matches mean a level 4 plays a level 29. Or changes the direction on its own. It becomes lame, has nothing to do with becoming harder, it is just arbitrary. Half the time any taps or takeouts don’t actually “push” the back rock, the shooter just sticks to the back rock and they both keep going. Always makes me upset and can barely finish a single round of the game. What makes me mad the most is the stone spinning technique. The opponent team can put spin on a stone and make it move from right to centre or to left, or the other way around, the way I can never do. No matter how hard I try I have never been able to make my stone turn the way my opponents do, as if I were disadvantaged by having a limited function. Nebenbei erfinden die Entwickler die Physik neu, teils wird der eigene Stein, wenn er einen anderen im Spitzen Wickel erwischt, schneller, also wie das möglich sein soll, soll mir mal einer physikalisch erklären (es wird ja keine neue Energie hinzugegeben, dass ist einfach unmöglich). Auch sonst macht die Kraftübertragung auf andere Steine keinen Sinn und erinnert mehr ans Stockschießen, als an Curling, schade eigentlich… außerdem ist das Spiel leider auch im schlecht durchdachten Karrieremodus darauf ausgelegt, dass man echtes Geld aufbringen muss, was bei einem derart lieblosen Spiel, eine echte Frechheit ist… ### 1/5 — Müll *2026-02-08* Der letzte Müll ### 1/5 — Trash Game *2025-08-14, version 1.22* The game is very glitchy and too easy. I only downloaded this because the Curling game, I absolutely love, is no longer available in the App Store; Curling 3D HD. Yet, it is also a Giraffe Games LTD App!!! That game was the ultimate in Curling; an exceptional example of what features are needed for an outstanding gaming experience. What they have replaced it with is a stark contrast. I was immediately struck by its juvenile intro. It’s so devoid of quality, it’s not even playable for me. What was a rare diamond is now the utter dust of curling stones! It doesn’t even have Scotland as one of the teams despite the Scots inventing curling and being among the best in the world. The physics are so bad… ### 1/5 — Physics are not correct *2023-12-03, version 1.22* The way the curling rocks behave, particularly on hits, really affect the strategy of this game. For instance, in reality, when a rock is frozen perfectly on top of another and you hit the frozen rock on the nose, the back rock goes and the frozen rock stays in place. In this game, both the frozen rock and the rock behind it go, making freezes essentially useless (IYKYK). There are also many glitches where the house is completely reshuffled after a shot is made from what was depicted. Amongst other changes, high level opponents should not be allowed to play in low-level games. Nothing like facing a level 437 when you're level 5.
