It automates it all, from direct deposit and other income movements to spending and capital movements to my investment accounts. All totally within my control, only I don’t have to think 90% of my finances because it’s on autopilot. A real pay yourself, easy to follow process that helps you be deliberate with how your money works for you ### 5/5 — No more budgets! *2023-11-27* Before using Currence, it seemed like I was always struggling to keep up with expenses and trying to save was optional, and I ended up raiding the savings account to pay for expenses. That has changed dramatically since I started using the Currence app. I’m in control of my money. It no longer controls me. Working through the Currence app, my cash flow is structured to automatically and unconsciously save to create a cash surplus. Now, spending has become a CHOICE, and I can now use the cash surplus created by Currence to put my money to work in tax efficient vehicles and investments. We’ve captured $12,000 more than what we would have saved without Currence and we feel more empowered than we ever have around structuring our cash flow. This is an elegant solution to the human issue of trying to figure out your financial income and outflow of our money. If there had been a way years ago, to have been able to save money without thinking about it. Having it just happen naturally. Everyone would have been doing it. Until this app, I just didn’t have an adequate way to do that. For sure recommend it. **Developer response:** Budgeting is hard! You will spend all your time trying to get it back. The service is awful and there is zero support ### 2/5 — Awful login process *2025-05-12* Will y’all PLEASE change your login process?? I have to go through 9 different steps just to log in to the app. It’s inconvenient, clunky, obnoxious and unnecessary. I understand that privacy with funds is important but even my bank and credit monitoring apps only require face ID. The Face ID option for the app doesn’t work on any of my devices, all of which are up to date and one is even new. Having to verify my identity 3 different times is overkill and only makes me want to search elsewhere for places to store my funds. I personally pwn a business and inconveniencing the customer is never a sign of good service. Please find a way to create a smoother login experience for your consumer or have the app remain automatically logged on but verified with Face ID since it is literally already on my phone, so clearly I’m the one using it. **Developer response:** Hi @Jaz1784, we suggest you reach out to us directly through your Currence app in the Connect tab under "Support" to handle any difficulties you may have logging in. We are happy to help! ### 3/5 — Slow and inconvenient *2025-01-19, version 1.30.0* For the love of god, get instant transfer and allow scheduled money movements to be on frequencies like bimonthly instead of on a particular day in the month. ### 3/5 — Functional but cumbersome *2024-02-18, version 1.25.0* I really really like the concept of this app. I’ve definitely saved money and been much more intentional with my spending. My biggest issue is the fact that it takes 3+ steps JUST to get signed in. The purpose of an app is to create ease of access for its users, so the fact that it takes way too many steps just to get into the app feels clumsy and clunky. Signing into my bank is only a Face ID or passcode, so for this to be a multi-step process is a bit much, especially when the server tends to lag. ### 4/5 — CHECK THIS OUT!!! *2023-04-24* A game changer regarding your income and your ability to save and invest. The cash flow exercise comes with a dashboard to see where you are now and, in time, where you were versus where you are now. I may be able to change to 5 once I’m more familiar with how it all works. Some pros: - a great tool to help build up an emergency fund’ - developers have been very responsive whenever an issue has come up - linking bank accounts has been very painless and automatic Cons: - I want to see it move money faster. Transfers between accounts takes longer than I am used to. The amount of money that you are able to accumulate without even thinking about it is incredible. I have been using Currence for a while now and love that I can “set and forget it”.
