Currency Today keeps working when a rate source does not. Most converters read from a single feed. If that feed is slow, rate limited or down, you get a stale number or an error. Currency Today is wired to several independent rate sources and falls through to the next one automatically. A source that keeps failing is taken out of rotation until it recovers. What you get - Automatic failover: several independent rate sources, tried in order, so one bad provider does not become your problem. - Honest offline mode: the last fetched rate stays available with its age shown, so you always know how old the number is. - Rate alerts: set a target for a pair and get notified when it is reached. - Built-in calculator: run multi step conversions with a saved history. - Rate history charts: see how a pair has moved over time. - Watchlist: pin the pairs you use most.
