First time using a currency converter on the advice of an overseas family member. It worked exactly as I would expect. I initiated a wire transfer from my account to CF. It arrived there the same day. I answered some questions related to the transfer that arrived overnight to my email. The money was converted that next morning and sent overseas. The next morning I received confirmation of the deposit. It could not have gone more smoothly. Much appreciated!

I have used Currencyfair for well over a decade which has always been very straightforward and user friendly. However since your new partnership and setup I have find the transaction process more complicated and has caused frustration with emails to and from your support team to get to a final destination. I have managed to make two new transactions but cannot say this has been a pleasant experience as there have been queries with both. However I trust this matter is now resolved and I can go forward with more confidence when using your services.

Update: 6 weeks!!! And I still can’t get my money from currency fair! 

Its been week over 3 weeks since I transferred money to CurrencyFair and it hasn’t arrived in the destination account. They’re holding on to peoples money for far too long. I’ve emailed lots of times to let them know the issue and I have so far just received one non automated response. They don’t seem to be doing anything to either return ir complete the transfer. The same thing happened in January. Also the app asks me if I want to use Face ID every single time I log in, despite me agreeing to it every time.

I did a transfer of $16000 and then currency fair locked my account so I’ve been unable to access it. Many mails sent to support and as yet not a single reply ( other than generic automated responses). I rang and after 30mins did manage to speak to someone who unlocked my account but I’m now still waiting for the money to be transferred in. This used to be a good service but it’s gone rapidly downhill and is now more hassle than it’s worth.

I have been using Currencyfair for several years and generally have been satisfied.
However, despite receiving confirmation of receipt of funds on the 26th of April, the funds have not been credited to my account and still show pending.
Despite endless emails will I get our automated responses and as for trying to contact by phone to speak to someone all I get is we are experiencing unusually high call volumes.
I do not understand why it is not possible to reach someone and why over a month after receiving funds, they have not been credited to my account. Furthermore, a weakening of the euro against pound sterling means I have lost a significant amount amount of money too.
