### 5/5 — Simple and straightforward

Have been using this app / card for a few years now and I love it, so simple and the fact that the money is taken from my day-to-day account saves me having to top up. 

Only thing that would be better is if the direct debit payments could be consolidated into a separate payment each day. Eg let’s say I make 5 transactions on Monday - rather than have 5 DD payments, it would be good to have just the one consolidated one - totally understand why this probably isn’t practical.

I only using for travelling on holiday to withdraw cash for free or a backup if my travel credit card fails. I opened this 3 years ago and have not really had to use it. But recently, I went on holiday hoping to use it, I got told I am unable to link to my Santander bank account because I missed some deadline when they upgraded their system. Honestly, just easier to take cash out the old fashioned way.

The issue is due to a recent change Santander made to its Open Banking platform. As part of this update, customers needed to refresh the connection between their Santander account and Currensea by Santander's deadline. To help keep customers informed, we sent multiple emails ahead of the deadline explaining the change and what action was needed. If you missed the deadline, don't worry – your account simply needs to be re-linked before you can use your card again.

We appreciate this wasn't the experience you were expecting, especially if you only use your card for holidays, and we're sorry for the inconvenience. Our support team has already been in touch and will be happy to help you get everything re-linked so your card is ready for your next trip.

I love this company. Firstly I find it great vale and transparent regarding costs of purchases. Secondly it is safe: card was very easy to cancel when mine was stolen. I also received great support when a restaurant mistakenly charged me twice. I received sympathetic and effective help from some great Currensea staff (thank you Rhys, Jayden and Kiara for your kind help).

Card is good but App is rather simplistic. Badly missing is the ability to export statements e.g. as a pdf so you could keep a permanent record or use as proof of expenditure. Every other credit or debit card provides this basic facility.
After update in Apr 26 it no longer runs on my ipad - crashes on opening.
