## What is Current Card?

Current Card is for something that can wait but is easy to forget.

Write it on one card and leave it somewhere you already look: in the app, a Home Screen, Lock Screen, or StandBy widget, or an optional Keep in sight Live Activity. It does not use alarms or reminder sounds to demand attention. The card simply remains visible until ordinary device use brings it back to mind.

There is only one current card. That keeps a visual reminder from becoming another list. When the card no longer needs this visible place, tap Let go. You do not have to decide whether the underlying thing is “finished.” If something else needs the space, replace the card.

Cards you let go of move to Card Trail. The 3 most recent cards stay free. Turn one over to leave a short phrase or photo, or leave the back empty.

The core stays free. A one-time Pro purchase adds Apple Watch, the full Card Trail and Random Draw, optional private iCloud sync, automatic Keep in sight, Quiet Arts themes, and alternate app icons. Pro also lets you move a past card to Trash, where it stays recoverable for 7 days. Buying Pro never turns on iCloud sync.

• One current card at a time
• Designed for iPhone and iPad
• Home Screen, Lock Screen, and StandBy widgets
• Optional Keep in sight Live Activity
• No account, ads, in-app analytics, or tracking

Current Card saves locally first and stays quiet, simple, and fast.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.5 — 2026-09-10

Show Mode brings your card to a landscape full-screen view, with continuous scrolling for a message or cheering sign. Included with Pro.
Print Studio adds four coordinated themes: cobalt, vermilion, magenta and graphite. Buy the collection separately, or enjoy it with Pro.
Bring a past card back to Now, keeping its theme and back. If another card is there, it is let go first.
Refined landscape browsing, Card Trail controls and theme colors throughout the app.
Find illustrated Control Center and Action button instructions through User Guide in Settings.
Improved recovery when a missing iCloud record prevents private sync from finishing.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-07

Refined Keep in sight across Live Activities, the Lock Screen, StandBy, and the Dynamic Island, with clearer ways to hide a card without letting it go or to let it go when it is no longer needed.
A single tap now opens the current card for editing; placing and replacing a card are easier to recognize.
Added a gentle, one-time Card Trail swipe cue after the first Let go, and polished onboarding, Settings, sharing, Light and Dark appearances, and accessibility.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-09-03

- Fixed an issue where turning on private iCloud sync could show “Sync could not finish.” Current Card now checks the existing private sync area and recovers automatically when it is safe to do so.
- Added the iCloud sync status and recovery controls to the Pro page.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-09-02

Improved the Lock Screen Live Activity so it follows the Light or Dark appearance selected in Current Card, stays neutral, and remains readable when the Always-On display dims.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-28

Fixed an occasional issue where a card could stop responding after being pressed, preventing upward or downward dragging. Held-card gestures are now more reliable when letting a card go or moving it to Trash.

We also refreshed Current Card's App Store presentation around quiet visual reminders and corrected the Trash recovery period to 7 days.
