I pay to have top of the line support but they give me the same response as the virtual assistant and then ends the chat. My paycheck advance keeps getting lowered even though I keep paying on time and keeping my account current. This is the most frustrating part I was once approved for the full advance. And nothing has changed!!! When I see that the system is using a direct deposit from a money app as a form of income from an employer to consider my advance amount, I try to talk to someone about it and I get booted multiple times. Current has been so really good with me in the past but lately they have been treating me so unfairly. ### 3/5 — It's alright.. Maybe if my boss was smart he would've allowed me to do direct deposit but because there were illegal actions within the business ; we all received paychecks which is a hassle. ### 3/5 — Wow *2026-08-12, version 8.14.0* I’ve been with Current since 2021 and decided to switch because I was tired of my old bank. Lately however, I’ve been really tired of the rewards still falling behind from other banking apps. Now I feel like it has been downgraded with the new category options for 3x points. I was getting MUCH more points for the food/dining category and they removed it back in June! Plus $10 a month now just to get 3x points, 6% in savings and priority support. $5 a month for the subscription would be a lot more fair. The rewards program really needs a revamp or just to offer cash back on various categories. Thinking of switching over to OnePay since their rewards are much more generous and you have a wider variety of categories to choose from! Also, I used to get paid over 2 days early but now it’s only 1 day early. Idk if that’s because my current employer is just being slower at doing payroll or if Current has just slowed down on processing direct deposits. I have it set up so I have 50% of my check each day and it’s helped me with my credit with the credit build. I’ve traveled and had no issues and the one trip I did the notified me IMMEDIATELY and I was able to get brew card very fast. I had an uber rider named “Katie” to pick up at her location and upon arriving to the location I was informed to call “Katie” via through the uber app that my account is on-I call two times and no answer. 3rd call was answered by a gentleman calling himself “Krispen” giving out his badge number and claiming he’s from uber and that there has been a report that I was drinking and driving, alcohol smell in my car, and excessive speeding-then said “they’d verify” if the accusations were true. He put me on hold for about 15 minutes until I said out loud “I’m just going to call the police this is ridiculous” then he unmuted the phone and asked if I was okay and soon after than had me download this app claiming that I needed to “transfer funds” in order to receive “compensation funds” for my troubles since they found I have a consistent 5 star rating. Got into my bank through this app and now I am unable to get back into this app because it has been disabled. This app has been reported to the police for theft and scams against uber drivers. ### 1/5 — Lost a customer *2026-07-30, version 8.13.0* I’ve been using this app for 7+ years. Never had any problems, never had to file a dispute. Got scammed by a Facebook shop, filed a dispute and they didn’t do anything to help me. There isn’t even anything on the website for the price they charged me without my consent.
