I find the driver tracking feature greatly reduces stress caused by missed connections between driver and passenger. The requisite confirmation call should be eliminated if possible. Also, I am disappointed that company has begun to have a very noticeable driver turn-over rate and I miss recognizing drivers when I frequent the service. If I book a car in advance when I am I another time zone the app sends it for the time zone I was in when I ordered it, not Kelowna. Yesterday the app didn’t offer a tip option on arrival so I had to use US $. The old app worked perfectly. The Current Taxi service and people are great and we have used them exclusively since they started business. However, when I used the Ride Now feature, the drivers wouldn’t pick up my request. Open the app. Shows a couple drivers. Nothing happens. Maybe it’s a glitch. So I cancel the search and select “no drivers available”. Try again. App shows the same drivers in the same location, probably rejecting my ride request. App then has to audacity to complain that I am “cancelling” rides and thus may be banned from using Current Taxi.
