## What is Currents.?

Social media was built to keep you scrolling. Currents was built to give you your time back.

There's no algorithm deciding what you see, no engagement tricks, no ad trackers, and no follower counts to chase. Currents is a set of honest tools for the people you love and the life you're actually living. Your feed is chronological, and you decide what flows through it.

MOMENTS: Your day. Unfiltered.
Keep an honest daily journal with real photos and video, a few words about today, the moments you don't want to forget, what you're grateful for, and what you'd like to improve. Privacy is set section by section. Share the hike with friends and keep the gratitudes just for you. It's a journal, not a highlight reel.

STUDIO: Create without limits.
Quotes, articles, photography, music, art, and more. Share a song you wrote on the drive home, an essay you've been working on for months, or a quote you keep coming back to. Nobody ranks your work, and there's no pressure to perform.

FOOD: One list. The whole household.
Save and create recipes, import them from your favorite sites in one tap, and plan meals for the week. Grocery lists sync with your household in real time, so whoever makes it to the store has everything everyone added. Check things off together in Shop Mode.

NEWS: News you choose.
Follow the publications and writers you trust. Nothing is ranked, hidden, or boosted to make you angry. It's your own feed, built from your own sources.

DREAMS: From someday to today.
Give that idea you've been sitting on a home. Track your dreams from first spark to planning, action, and achievement. Set timelines, build checklists, watch your journey fill in, and invite the friends who'll keep you honest.

CONNECTIONS: Your people. Your way.
Find friends through your contacts, follow creators you admire, and message the people who matter, one-on-one or in group chats. Share recipes, songs, and moments directly. No follower counts and no social scoreboard.

ONE FEED, ON YOUR TERMS
Everything from the people you care about comes together in plain chronological order. Choose which modules appear in your feed, and change your mind anytime.

PRIVACY YOU CAN SEE
Every post lets you choose who sees it: just you, specific people, friends, family, or the public. Block, mute, and report tools are built in, not buried. Currents has no ad SDKs, no behavioral analytics, and no data-broker trackers. We never sell your data, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

BUILT FOR REAL LIFE
Households that share a grocery list. Creator Profiles for work you publish under another name, with shared access and a release calendar. A daily rhythm instead of an endless scroll.

Currents is one app for the parts of your life that don't belong to an algorithm.
