Ads now sit clear of the tab bar, so you can no longer tap one by accident when reaching for Compare.

Under the hood, Currio has moved to a new advertising provider with proper adaptive banner sizing - the banner now fits your screen exactly instead of being scaled down to fit, and it takes up no space at all when there is no ad to show.

Also new: a Personalized Ads switch in Settings. Turn it off and you will still see ads, just less relevant ones. Currio Pro removes them entirely.

### 1.2 — 2026-08-11

Fixed: refreshing rates with no internet connection now tells you so.

Previously, tapping refresh while offline appeared to do nothing - and if your saved rates were recent, it could even look as though the refresh had worked. Currio now tells you clearly when it cannot reach the rate service, and the status line keeps showing how old your rates really are until an update actually goes through.

Your rates always remain available offline, so conversions keep working either way.
