### 1/5 — Help

*2017-11-02*

We need an update! It really stinks to have to delete a great app because it won’t work with the updates,

### 1/5 — Need app update from developer.

*2017-10-13*

I got this app to help our children with cursive.
Being able to create weekly spelling words for them to practice was ideal.
Only, it isn't updated to work with iOS 10+.
(It'll still charge ya, however!)

Having one word, that isn't sized in a way to See the whole word, is not helpful.
(As the word is traced, it will scroll left. No way to see the entire word)
It will show the input word, however it's only useful if kids are practicing IN the app.

**If it's ever updated, I'd like to see an update that would allow any list, specifically created lists, to be shown in list form.

** I hope for a list form that will show the entire list in cursive. That would allow children to see what it's supposed to look like, and for them to complete homework.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2015-04-30*

I think this app was once better. I think some of the updates have made it far to challenging for children "learning" to write in cursive. If I, the adult, can't successfully write the letters PERFECT enough, how exactly should a learning child be able to enjoy this app??? I think it needs to be less restrictive so kids can actually learn the movements to successfully write in cursive on paper.

### 2/5 — Not for beginners

*2014-03-06*

Doesn't really teach handwriting, ok for practice. 8 year old son says it's fun and frustrating. Too expensive. Want my money back

### 2/5 — Meh

*2013-01-08*

The app is very engaging, but I'm disappointed that the words cannot be written in a continuous fashion. The words are written as disconnected letters, one letter at a time. We would love if a feature was included to write words as whole words.

### 2/5 — What's wrong with a?

*2012-06-15*

Whenever you get to small a, it won't let you complete it. As soon as you come around the corner it errors. I've gone slow and fast. Fix this and I'll try it again

### 3/5 — Cute imaginative cursive app

*2012-06-18*

My 7 and 9 year olds loved the customization of the app. How fun to have waffle paper and a syrup pen, etc! Lots of choices too! I would have given it more stars if you could actually connect he words. Currently you write each letter one at a time on the paper and the app connects it to show you how they look connected. A major part of cursive is connecting the letters. My 9 year that learned cursive this year was quite frustrated that you cannot write a whole word. My 7 year old really liked practicing though.

### 4/5 — Great cursive writing app!

*2014-03-29*

This app is fantastic for teaching cursive! Love the fact that it is customizable, engaging & multi-sensory. I do wish there were a little more visual cues like in the touch and write print app and it seems to be a little hard & frustrating for some of the kids I work with.

### 4/5 — Good, but I wish it had other styles of handwriting

*2013-07-27*

I heard about this app at an OT workshop today, it looks really promising but I wish it could be tailored to the style of penmanship the child is learning. I have been working with a little girl for almost a year on cursive handwriting but I am afraid to have her use this app bc it is a different style from the upright Handwriting Without Tears style she has been taught. Developers - do you think you could add an option like "Letter School" does to allow you to pick a handwriting style?

### 4/5 — Great app

I have the printing version already. I would like to be able to work with letters out of sequence.

## Most praised reviews (3 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — We love this!

*2013-01-10*

Skip button is a nice addition. The food is a great idea, it really appeals to my kids! They love to make the monster eat his cupcakes.

### 5/5 — 11 year old says it's "Awesome"

*2012-06-18*

We've been struggling to teach my 11 year old son cursive for several years now. I put this app on his iPad, and he's been playing it for over an hour - just for fun!

He was complaining that at school it takes him so long to write that for the he hasn't even learned the whole alphabet. At the beginning of the school year, he starts back at "a". He's just completed the whole alphabet in cursive, on his own - and he's soooo proud!

Too new to say if it carries over into real life for us, but I'd say it's more promising than anything that was happening in school! I had a blast trying it out, too!

Great App! Thanks so much!

### 5/5 — Little a

*2012-06-18*

I had trouble with the little a, but figured it out. Once you get to the top of the letter you have to trace over what you already did. Just follow the path of the cupcakes. It seems strange, because it isn't the way I write the letter. Hope that helps.
Great app. My daughter loves it!
