## What is Cursor?

Introducing Cursor for iOS: the best way to build, review, and ship software from anywhere. Kick off and manage agents to implement changes, fix bugs, and keep projects moving forward while you're away from your desk.

BUILD FROM ANYWHERE

With Cursor in your pocket, you can start new work the moment inspiration strikes. Launch agents directly from your phone to implement features, investigate issues, or answer questions about your codebase. Track progress across long-running agents and review completed work no matter where you are. Cursor helps you think through complex problems with a deep understanding of your codebase.

VERIFY WORK WITH DEMOS

Agents can test changes in their own sandbox and iterate until they've validated their output. Cursor can produce artifacts like videos, screenshots, and logs, so you can quickly verify its work before moving to the next step. By giving agents their own virtual machines with full development environments, they are able to work more autonomously to create merge-ready PRs.

POINT AND DRAW TO FIX

Take a screenshot, circle an issue, and drop comments to give agents visual feedback directly on images. Cursor understands annotations and uses them as context to make precise updates. Visual inputs help shrink the distance between what you see and what the agent understands. This allows you to iterate faster when refining UI, fixing visual bugs, or communicating design changes.

SHIP CODE FROM YOUR PHONE

Review pull requests and inspect changes through a focused diff experience designed for mobile. From quick fixes to major features, Cursor makes it easy to move between files and commits. Understand what changed and merge high-quality code with confidence.

TALK TO CURSOR

Use voice mode to communicate what you want without typing. Brainstorm ideas, explain bugs, plan features, tackle a difficult technical challenge, or request changes out loud. Cursor turns conversations into actionable engineering work, allowing you to stay in flow and capture ideas as they come to you.

BUILT FOR MODERN SOFTWARE TEAMS

Cursor is designed to help individuals and teams build ambitious software. Always use the best model for the task at hand with access to any frontier model from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and more. Cursor's own agentic model, Composer, delivers frontier-level intelligence while optimizing for speed and token-efficiency.

With Cursor for iOS, you can:
  • Launch coding agents from anywhere
  • Track and manage active engineering work
  • Review screenshots and videos of changes
  • Annotate images to provide visual feedback
  • Inspect diffs and merge pull requests
  • Talk to agents with voice conversations
  • Understand unfamiliar codebases faster

Whether you’re maintaining production systems or building your next side project, Cursor helps you turn your ideas into working software from anywhere.

### 5/5 — Best Coding App for the $

*2026-08-28, version 1.7.0*

The addition of Grok 4.6 in cursor at discounted rates makes cursor an outstanding value . It’s already the best coding IDE and with Grok and Composer , it’s now the best value as well . Best of all , no 5 hour limits like on Codex or Claude .

### 5/5 — Awesome coding assistant

*2026-08-28, version 1.7.0*

Helping me build some great software - for a non-coder that’s a game changer.

### 5/5 — Work from your phone!

*2026-08-28, version 1.7.0*

This tool has been stellar. I’m fully addicted. Any idea can be take to fruition.

### 1/5 — Lies lies lies

*2026-08-27, version 1.7.0*

Writing this review to let the developers know they should probably stop letting their agents tell people about, and “set up” features like /Remote-control when they don’t even work and are a giant fake lie that only burns tokens (of your VERY limited usage) and waste hours of time. You pay $300 a month for a subscription only to sit and waste hours because you’re being fed lies by Cursor agents…. (The ones you’re paying $300 a month for…) what a joke.

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2026-08-26, version 1.7.0*

The one tool you need to become a innovator

### 4/5 — Almost perfect

*2026-08-26, version 1.7.0*

I've been a Cursor user since day one on desktop and I could not be more excited about this app. Finally I can code for real on my phone. In addition to having multiple agents working just like the desktop, I can push software to production. I can test it. I can do literally anything I would have done on my computer.

All it’s missing is ability to listen to the response (including a choice between skipping code segments or intelligently reading them out loud)

### 5/5 — 1444

*2026-08-25, version 1.7.0*

247

### 1/5 — Gitlab integration does not work on mobile app

*2026-08-24, version 1.7.0*

If you’re intending to run cloud agents for a Gitlab repository, this wouldn’t work on a mobile app. Connect keeps prompting you to login and after redirect on successful login, status doesn’t change. Still shows connect - endless loop. Not at all functional

### 5/5 — Great UI

*2026-08-24, version 1.7.0*

Awesome product. Best AI tool out there for builders, engineers and developers.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2026-08-23, version 1.7.0*

Previously, I said that my main issue with this app is that in local mode it always opens PRs and doesn't use the local ssh keys I have for it when I start the worker. That seems to be fixed now. So as promised, this gets a perfect score from me. My favorite feature is the remote control and it's useful far beyond features or fixes. It's nice to occasionally run a fetch, checkout, build, etc. before you get to work; or just check on the status of something. It saves me a lot of headache connecting to the vpn.

Previous review for context:

Let me just skip to the parts I don't like. The local remote control feature is essentially all I use. It must be in the system prompt to open a PR for everything because it does despite many commands not to. It also never asks me to confirm ANYTHING before opening a PR on my behalf. That is completely unacceptable to me. My agent workers are always started in a shell with access to my github keys, so I don't even need the github integration per se. This app would get 5⭐️ if it changed the system prompt when running local workers and maybe let you know if it had push access for the repo the worker was started in. Github already has a setting that lets you adjust how much oversight you want to give your agents by default. If there were some sort of setting that let you review the proposed pr before opening, that would be perfect.
