## What is Curvist?

Curvist turns "I should learn that someday" into something you actually do — five minutes at a time.

Instead of one subject, Curvist covers 118 skills across 11 categories: juggling, negotiation, meditation, chess, cooking, small talk, personal finance, copywriting, and more. Pick what you're curious about and get a real curriculum, not just trivia.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-09-25

A fresh new look
Bold, poster-style titles, living ink icons and a cleaner lesson screen across the whole app.

16 new hand-written courses
Productivity, Focus, Stress Management, Memory Techniques, Active Listening, Body Language, Prompt Engineering, Using AI, Public Speaking, Time Management, Budgeting, Sleep, Investing Basics, Building Habits, Critical Thinking and First Aid Basics.

Share your streak
A redesigned, story-ready streak card in Black or Paper.

Fixes
• Saving your streak image no longer crashes the app
• Matching exercises now accept every correct pair
• Smaller fixes and polish

### 1.4 — 2026-09-24

Curvist now checks your work, not just your answers.

• New lesson types: photo challenges (checked on-device with Apple's Vision framework), rhythm drills, guided breathing, spot-the-mistake exercises, and speaking practice with real-time feedback.

• Redesigned skill tree — every skill fills up like ink as you learn it, with your progress shown right on the map.

• XP shop — spend what you earn on Streak Freezes, a Double XP boost, or a new app icon.

• Refreshed onboarding and smoother animations throughout the app.

• Home screen and Lock Screen widgets now match the app's look and handle streak freezes correctly.

As always: no account, no server. Everything — including the new on-device photo checks — stays on your phone.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-15

Curvist went dark — and found its voice.

The whole app has a new dark design. Every screen was rebuilt
around one idea: one thing that matters, everything else quiet.

Listening lessons are here. The first narrated episode — six
minutes on what to do when someone says "it's too expensive" —
is in the first Sales lesson. It keeps playing when you leave
the app, remembers where you stopped, and runs at 1.25x or
1.5x if you like.

Also:
• The home screen now shows your whole week, not just today
• Lesson and course screens got the same cleanup
• The audio player works with VoiceOver

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-11

Smoother, smarter, and a little more alive:

- Fixed an issue where quiz answers sometimes appeared in a predictable order
- Added a "streak at risk" reminder that only appears if you haven't hit today's goal
- New weekly recap notification (optional, Sunday evenings)
- Siri Shortcuts support — "Start today's lesson in Curvist"
- More badges to earn along the way
- Trimmed a few skills that didn't translate well to a text-based lesson
- General polish and bug fixes

### 1.0 — 2026-09-10
