Die Vorhersage war mal wieder perfekt und mit am genausten. Das Echtzeitradar stimmt auch immer zu 98%. Support ist klasse, schnelle Antworten und auch Ideen finden ein Gehör (Betatest). Being able to tailor it to your needs and liking is also great. Die Widgets sind schonmal erste Sahne und ein Wunsch für die Zukunft wäre eine AppleWatch-App samt Komplikationen. Ich würde sogar Lifetime kaufen, damit habe ich schon viele Wetterprogrammierer unterstützt. Aber bei 60 Euro liegt meine Schmerzgrenze. Übersicht/Design könnte ein wenig intuitiver sein. Das könnte neue Benutzer evtl abschrecken. Es sollte eine Option geben für einen Einmalkauf für Premium oder nur zum Werbung deaktivieren. Diese Abo Geschichte nervt. Julian ### 1/5 — Ridiculous Lifetime Price *2025-10-21* I have several lifetime weather apps and was interested in this one, but this costs more than all of the other weather apps I have used combined. Insane to charge $120 for a freaking weather app. **Developer response:** Update: I’ve reduce the lifetime price to 89$ in the meantime. Thank you for your honest feedback! I'm a solo developer, and the $120 helps me cover ongoing costs and future updates over the long term. I totally get that the price feels high. Weather apps are often used for many years, which means the running costs last longer. I also occasionally reduce the price for a short time, so maybe that could be interesting for you. ### 1/5 — Updates Slow In Coming. *2025-08-09, version 1.7.5* Paid yearly subscription, updated very slow in coming. Jedes Mal, wenn ich Sonuby Wetter starte, werde ich mit aufdringlichen Aufforderungen zum Kauf eines Jahresabonnements bombardiert. Diese penetrante Werbetaktik erreicht genau das Gegenteil von dem, was sie bezwecken soll. Anstatt mich zum Kauf zu motivieren, treibt mich diese nervige Strategie nur zur Weißglut. Die ständigen Pop-ups und Hinweise auf das Premium-Abo sind **extrem nervig** und nehmen jede Freude an der Nutzung der App. Ich will einfach nur meine Wettervorhersage sehen, nicht ununterbrochen Verkaufsargumente hören! Was die Entwickler nicht verstehen: Solche aggressiven Marketingmethoden führen nicht zu Kundengewinnung, sondern zu **Kundenabschreckung**. Ich bin jetzt so frustriert, dass ich nicht nur kein Abo kaufen werde, sondern die App am liebsten komplett löschen und negativ bewerten würde. Mein Rat an die Entwickler: Weniger Druck, mehr Qualität! Zeigen Sie den Mehrwert Ihrer App durch gute Funktionen, nicht durch nervige Verkaufsmasche. **Fazit**: Finger weg von dieser App! Sie nervt mehr, als dass sie nützt. ### 2/5 — Too many ads now *2025-12-18, version 1.8.2* When this app came out just with an advertising banner at the bottom of the app, it was great, and I was happy using it - but every update seems to creep more flavours of advertising in. Now you can’t navigate far without a full-page video ad playing (you know the ones for P2W games or bad puzzle games that are tricky to close) and there was a big list of ad partners to accept. There are enough weather apps out there to choose that don’t do this I can use - Meteoblue’s own app offers the identical weather data and more features on the free tier. For free users or privacy conscious users I don’t think this is the app anymore - which is probably no loss to the developer anyway. Premium might still be useful for UAV/Surf specific weather. ### 2/5 — New user *2025-01-06* Just checking it out. Junky little popovers on the right edge are ugly. Absolutely hate junky little goobers covering the ui ever anywhere that you can’t get rid of. Junky little goobers. Also hate hamburger menus. Keiner geht heutzutage noch in eine App um sich Wetterdaten zu holen, die müssen angezeigt werden. The user interface is very clear and polished, providing the user with all the necessary information at a glance. The app receives data from multiple forecasts, making it quite accurate—something I’ve verified repeatedly. The updates are also frequent and don’t seem to negatively affect the app (much better than most apps…). This is a fully comprehensive and very detailed app, customisable to offer information prioritised to your own hobby or just left on the default setting. It is also, in my experience, very accurate. I have had many weather apps and for a few years have settled on taking an average from four which I have kept.
