In addition to my own, these special discoveries left me feeling a certain necessary and important weight… the simple thoughtful and prayerful summaries of lives well lived, most worthy of remembrance. Custos has given me the ability to respectfully carry that weight without the paper, which fades, and provided me with a fine way to help identify and remember these loved ones. Thanks, Scott! ### 5/5 — Remembered Forever *2026-08-26* What an excellent way to preserve special memories. Thanks for thinking up this app! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ ### 4/5 — Smart *2026-07-16* Very convenient for those moments when you wish you had the memorial handy. Wish you had a way to add extra pictures and to allow others to add them as well. Could be a great way to share photos of our loved ones to others that loved them too. **Developer response:** Thank you, Jessica. Happy to say this is live now. You can add up to 4 photos of your choosing to the obituary side of a memorial, right under the text. Thanks for using Custos. ### 5/5 — So useful *2026-06-05* I never knew what to do with these prayer cards or funeral programs. Now I can scan them, keep on my phone and always know where they are ### 5/5 — So useful *2026-05-30* I never knew what to do with these prayer cards or funeral programs. No more mass or funeral home cards lost in a drawer. This is a gift. Our family loves this! ### 3/5 — Glitches *2026-05-21* It doesn't always accept the url and if it gets the prayer card then you cannot add the obituary. Has some glitches **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback! After scanning a prayer card, you can scroll down to add an obituary in the same memorial. In the off chance a link doesn’t load, try taking a screenshot of it — works great as an alternative. We’re always improving and appreciate you sharing this. ### 5/5 — Amazing idea *2026-05-03* Loving it so far, hard times need reminders of good times ### 5/5 — Perfect solution for creating digital memorials *2026-04-20* I was looking at a prayer card from my co workers wife’s funeral the other day, thinking how I didn’t want to throw it out but I didn’t know what to do with it either, this is perfect solution for that situation. This app is easy to navigate and gives me peace knowing I can create a digital memorial for the loved ones I’ve lost. ## Frequently asked questions about Custos ### How do I create a memorial in Custos? If you use smaller text on your phone, cards no longer look sparse. The obituary side of each card shows a small portrait next to the name, so you stay oriented as you read. Share, QR code, and edit have moved out of the way, letting the obituary and Apple Wallet buttons breathe. Adding or editing a memorial is safer. The screen can no longer be closed by an accidental swipe, and you'll be asked before anything you've typed is discarded. Small design and layout fixes throughout. ### 3.8 — 2026-09-06 Memorial cards now read beautifully at every text size. If you use smaller text on your phone, cards no longer look sparse.
