What can you make with the food you already have? Custrd turns a photo of your fridge, pantry, or counter into recipe ideas built around your ingredients. Review what the camera found, see what each recipe uses and what is missing, then follow clear cooking steps when you are ready. SCAN YOUR INGREDIENTS Take a photo, use multiple photos, scan a supported barcode, or try a sample fridge. You stay in control: review and edit the detected ingredients before searching for meals. FIND REAL RECIPES Explore complete recipes with ingredients, instructions, cooking time, and nutrition details. Results show how much of a recipe is already in your Kitchen and what you still need. PERSONALIZE YOUR RESULTS Choose cuisines and dietary preferences, set optional nutrition goals, and use exclusions to shape your results. Always verify recipe ingredients and product labels for your own dietary needs and allergies. KEEP YOUR KITCHEN CURRENT Save ingredients to your Kitchen, track food to use soon, and move missing recipe ingredients to your shopping List. Shared Lists help a household keep the same list up to date. COOK AND KEEP THE RECIPES YOU LOVE Follow step-by-step instructions, save meals, organize your collection, log what you cooked, and share finished dishes. Custrd is free to download. Optional Custrd Pro features are available through in-app purchase. Subscription availability and pricing are shown before purchase. The reason I was interested initially in this app was because of the advertising of seamless tracking of your fridge and pantry while you use the app to make food… and I was amazed. I am using the app for around ~1 week and in just the 2-3 time of using it (first day) it basically had my entire fridge digitalized- and although this is not the main feature of the app, when I reopened it the next day- not only were the ingredients I used the day before gone (it updates itself smartly each time you snap your fridge) but also- suggested me 3 meals I could make right then and there!? It was really gratifying, and although my trial is ending- I definitely will be purchasing a subscription, seriously underrated app! Good job dev! ### 5/5 — Phenomenal App *2026-10-04* I love the interface of the app and how everything is integrated into the app. Theres also a lot of little things in the Custrd that make it so much better, from the list of what to buy to having able to store what I have in my fridge and pantry in separate tabs and that it also tracks calories. This app is really the all in one. ### 5/5 — super convenient *2026-09-28* helps me in the mornings to get ready— I like the built in macro tracking too! ### 5/5 — Super useful app *2026-09-18* Really like this app. It makes finding meals with what I already have way easier, and I’ve actually found a bunch of recipes I wouldn’t have thought of otherwise. It gets a little laggy sometimes, but nothing major. Overall really useful and definitely worth 5 stars. ### 5/5 — A blessing for my kids *2026-09-14* As a mother of 5, I always struggle to find meals that all my kids want that’s still within my price range. Custrd perfectly fits my needs (ex. The barcode feature). Today I used Custrd to make a meal using what I already had in my fridge… my kids LOVED IT!! Custrd is honestly easier to use than ChatGDP. ### 5/5 — Greatest thing ever *2026-08-29* This saved my high school years. So great and amazing. The photo and voice features to input ingredients are great for early mornings. 10/10 would definitely recommend! ## Frequently asked questions about Custrd ### What is Custrd?
