### 2/5 — Cannot open app on iPhone 13 Pro Max iOS 15.6.1. All. I get is green screen with tape measure

*2022-09-02*

All I get is green screen with tape measure.

### 2/5 — Mal

No me salen los cortes

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear the app wasn't working for you. I've released an update that should fix the issues, but if you still have any problems, please let me know and I'll try to get it fixed as soon as I can.

### 3/5 — So close…

*2021-10-02*

Overall this app is fine. Export to a pdf is need. If you have more than one page worth of a cut list then the image, which is the export method gets smaller and does not span to multiple pages.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! I've been trying to implement a good export to PDF option for a while but haven't been able to get it to work well enough to deploy. I do understand how helpful that would be and will hopefully get it out in a future release.

### 4/5 — Good app please add labels

*2022-06-17*

This is a very handy app that works well. It will be great if you can add labels to the cut sheets.

### 4/5 — Almost perfect!

*2020-12-02, version 1.5.2*

Hi Timothy, thanks so much for this app, it’s very useful for calculating linear cuts with minimal waste. I am finding, however, that sometimes the calculations seem to favour the least amount of average waste instead of maximizing the use of stock; if it did this, or perhaps had the option to choose between the two, this would be a 5 star app for me.

For example, if my blade width is 0”:

The pieces I need to cut:

1x 34.5”

2x 41”

9x 9”

The stock I have to use:

1x 120”

1x 122.5”

The app tells me to do this:

120” stock = 1x 34.5”, 2x 41” (3.5” waste)

122.5” stock = 9x 9” (41.5” waste)

This would be more efficient for me:

120” stock = 1x 34.5”, 1x 41” (44.5” waste)

122.5” stock = 9x 9”, 1x 41” (0.5” waste)

I hope this helps to improve your already amazing app, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you would like more information. Thank you! :)

### 5/5 — Excellent!

*2025-10-16*

This app is excellent especially since there is no hidden fees to use it. That being said, it would be great if I could label my pieces as I enter the dimensions.

### 5/5 — Simple, useful !

*2022-10-07*

This app saves me countless hours with a pen and paper mathing out my cuts. I do a lot of honey-do projects around the house and for friends. I input my proposed final pieces, and the app does the rest.
If grain orientation is important I toggle the “piece rotate” option and back into it- or force the direction my altering my sheet dimensions.
I really appreciate the blade kerf included in the cuts. Typically this is something I don’t allow for when matching with pencil and paper and it allows for a more accurate result.

### 5/5 — Works for fabric!

*2022-05-30, version 1.6.4*

I was dreading figuring out all the cuts while reupholstering my friends outdoor patio set. I got our graph paper and started working away when my husband said he saw a tik tok about a wood cutting app that would probably work. OH IT WORKS!! I had all my sizes ready and it was easy as input and go!
The only thing is I can’t figure out how to print the cut guide I need.
All in all this app is fantastic for quilters or anyone reupholstering large items!
Thank you!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-05-21*

This little app is very useful helping you optimize your cuts for your project. It’s really easy to use. Hopefully the dev builds the capability to save projects cross devices. Each project is saved locally on the device it was created on so you can’t create a project on say your iPhone and then open the app on your iPad and have access to that project.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple, fast to learn, and accurate

*2021-10-10*

This cut list optimizer was easy to learn, had simple rules, was very flexible, and didn’t require me to link in a Sketchup drawing. It was intuitive enough that I didn’t have to read the instructions immediately. The width of blade kerf choice is helpful, either to get exact measurements or to build in a little bit of play if all you want to do is rough out a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood.Did exactly what I wanted to do.

### 5/5 — Great help for woodworking

*2021-03-12*

I’ve used this app on a number of projects now and it takes some of the headache out of the project and drawing things up. Makes me think through everything a second time as I input things and does a great job optimizing. I even found a bug that I emailed about and it was fixed quickly and now works even better!

### 5/5 — Big help.

*2021-03-01*

It’s a big help to not only figure how much materials to order but planning out your cuts.
It would be nice to be able to add notes to the input pieces sheet.
Like: dado notch, line bore, line bore both sides, etc.
And a spot to specify piece location.
Like: base cabinet sides, base cabinet top & bottom, loose shelf, etc

### 5/5 — Great app helps reduce waste and save time.

*2020-08-02, version 1.4.0*

This app saved me a ton of time and wasted boards. Very quick to enter everything in and get a result. My only two suggestions for this app would be to add a sort by size option, then an option to give pieces labels or colours.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-05-06*

Simple and useful to speed up the process

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2019-11-30*

Excellent app. Helped me figure out exactly how much lumber I needed for several different projects: desks, gardens, and bookshelves.
