After I built all that a few days later I went to open up a project and the entire app was missing everything I built into it Projects wood library prices all of it. I have sent emails to developer and have heard nothing and got no response all said and done. This is the first review o have ever written and I am sad to say that I would not recommend this app. Not because there was an issue, but because the developer did not have e the courtesy to respond to my issue. By the way I can’t even reinstall all my data the app won’t accept any inputs at all it’s functionally useless. I hope this review can prompt the developer to fix what I thought could be a nice product **Developer response:** I'm sorry for your experience. I was hoping to have a larger feedback bucket during the beta testing, however real issues typically don't get noticed untl something goes live. I also apologize if you didn't get a response. To be honest I don't get any notifications from these reviews and I have to filter through thousands of spam emails from the website. This is a side-project for me, but I'll try to do better where I can. That being said, I am aware of the data storage issue. I am actively putting together a better system to store projects so you could even switch devices (phone-iPad->etc) and still see the same projects. Updates are in the works. No way to see the project, no way to understand the few inputs and of course you get nothing worthwhile. A waste of $1. **Developer response:** I would like to hear more about what specifically doesn't work. As it's a tool for helping to calculate and plan woodworking projects, I didn't focus on a fancy design. If you have suggestions on what can be improved, I would love to hear them. It does not work, don’t waste your time **Developer response:** This is a very niche applicaiton, and I am aware of some usability issues on my early versions. I have an updated version in the process of being reviewed by Apple and hopefully being released in the next few days. If there is specific functionality you are unable to use or need some help with any of it, please let me know. ### 1/5 — Total waste of 99 cents *2026-02-05* This app is complete garbage. I’ve heard there are “so many great apps” available for making cutting boards. This one however, not so much. First, it is too big for my phone screen. Second, I have tried inputting projects but it won’t take the dimensions I want to use. Third, the math isn’t mathing. As for inputting projects with specific dimensions, I am aware of some tradeoffs with the UI controls (sliders vs. text inputs). I will take a look at some options to alleviate this issue. As for the calculations, if there is something that isn't 'mathing' I'd love to know what part isn't correct. Otherwise, some of the cost and material usage does include a 'waste factor'. As with a lot of projects in woodworking, it's pretty difficult to have an accurate calculation that aligns with actual material usage. ### 1/5 — Layout broken *2025-08-23* But for $.99 it was worth it. But the layout doesn’t even fit the phone screen. The layout is truncated on all sides, can’t resize or scroll. As for testing it: Originally this was intended for iPad size screens, as well I had offered up beta testing to a large group of people. Unfortunatley in a testing phase, it's hard to get a lot of feedback. With many of these app projects, issues don't actually get communicated until it's released live. I can build a board in real time and have estimates on board feet and costs to make the design. The 3d rendered object is pretty sweet too and easy to use. **Developer response:** Thank you for the review!
