## What is Cutting Floor?

Point it at a video of your dog, your kid, your friend. It finds them in the frame, cuts them out, and hands you about thirty die-cut stickers.

Cutting Floor is a small machine that runs on your device. Feed it a video or a Live Photo, turn the handwheel, and watch die-cut stickers drop out of the press.

WHAT IT DOES

• Finds the subject on its own — no tracing, no masking, no erasing a background by hand
• Works on pets, kids and faces, because a ten-second clip holds more good expressions than a whole camera roll
• Picks the sharpest frames, so you keep the good moments instead of the blurry ones
• Cuts a white die-cut edge around every sticker, the way a real sticker is cut
• Groups them by subject, so two people in one video become two sets

WHERE YOUR STICKERS GO

• Messages — they appear as a sticker pack you can drag straight onto a bubble
• Any other chat app — a sticker keyboard you can switch to anywhere you type
• Photos — print a whole sheet of them on one of four paper grounds
• The Sheets room — every sheet you print stays pinned to a wall inside the app

HOW IT WORKS

1. Pick a video or a Live Photo
2. Turn the wheel and the stickers fall out
3. Keep the ones you like

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT

Everything happens on your device. There is no account, nothing is uploaded, and no video ever leaves your phone. The sticker keyboard has no network access at all — it can only read the stickers you already saved, and nothing you type is ever read or stored.

FREE AND SUBSCRIPTION

Two free saves every month. One save is a whole batch of stickers from one video, or one printed sheet. A subscription removes the monthly limit.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-24

Wide screens and iPad: columns now keep a readable width instead of stretching a button across the whole window, and stickers pile up under the press instead of scattering sideways.

A few buttons were smaller to tap than they looked. Fixed.

Cutting Floor can also ask what you make of it now, after a couple of saves.

### 1.0 — 2026-09-20

No release notes.
