## What is Cuvio?

Your personal cookbook for iPhone and iPad – your recipes, always at hand, even offline.

Keep the recipes you return to: family favorites, trusted recipes from the web, and your own ideas. Cuvio prepares them for saving, neatly organized and with no sign-up required.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Save recipes with photos, ingredients, instructions, and notes
• Import recipes from the web and review them before saving
• Scan a cookbook page and let Cuvio prepare the recipe for your review (iOS 26)
• Scale ingredient amounts for a different number of servings
• Create custom categories with emoji and tags
• Keep favorite recipes easy to find
• Search by title, ingredients, categories, and tags
• Filter by category, tags, favorites, and prep time
• Sort by name, date, or prep time
• Share a recipe as text or as a file
• Export recipes to PDF and print (Cuvio Pro)
• Choose an app color and alternative app icon (Cuvio Pro)
• Turn on Dark Mode
• Switch the app between Czech and English

CUVIO PRO

Cuvio Pro unlocks iCloud sync, PDF export and printing, app colors, alternative app icons, and removes the limits of the free version. It also includes 10 Cuvio AI credits to try the feature.

With Cuvio Pro, recipes sync across devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Your data stays on your device, and synced copies are stored in the private iCloud database of your Apple Account.

Without Cuvio Pro, recipes stay on your device. The free version includes up to 20 recipes, 5 categories, and 5 tags. You can create a single .cuvio file anytime to archive your cookbook or move it to another device.

IMPORT RECIPES FROM THE WEB

Found a recipe online? Paste a link directly to the recipe page. Cuvio prepares the title, ingredients, instructions, and available photo for you to review before saving. The original source link stays with the saved recipe.

Import works on websites that provide recipe details Cuvio can recognize. If some details cannot be read, you can edit them before saving.

SCAN A RECIPE FROM A COOKBOOK

Have a recipe on paper? Scan the page and Cuvio prepares the title, ingredients, and instructions for your review. Text recognition happens entirely on your device, so nothing is uploaded and the feature works offline. Compare the result with the original page before saving.

Works with printed recipes. Requires iOS 26.

CUVIO AI

Sometimes ordinary recognition is not enough – the page is set in two columns, or the website does not mark the recipe up at all. You can ask a language model to read the text, and Cuvio prepares the title, ingredients, and instructions for your review. The same way, you can have the wording of a recipe you already saved tidied up.

Only text leaves your device – never the photo, never the page address and never your notes. It uses credits sold in packs that never expire. Without credits, everything else works as before: cookbook photos are processed on your device, and web import works as usual.

EXPORT AND IMPORT YOUR DATA

Export creates one .cuvio file with all your recipes, photos, categories, and tags. Save it in Files, on iCloud Drive, or share it whenever you need to.

Before importing, Cuvio shows you what will change. Recipes that exist both in the app and in the imported file are updated from the file. All other recipes remain unchanged.

Cuvio does not require its own account and does not include ads or third-party analytics. The app works offline. With Cuvio Pro, changes sync once your device is back online.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-07

You can now add a recipe to Cuvio straight from the share sheet. Share a recipe page from Safari, or a photo of a cookbook page or a screenshot from Photos – Cuvio prepares the title, ingredients, and instructions for your review. Sharing photos requires iOS 26.

For a recipe captured from a page, you can now have the text read again by Cuvio AI even if you do not keep it switched on. The option appears in the recipe form and uses credits.

We fixed iCloud syncing, which for some users stopped carrying recipes over to their other devices. If recipes are missing, or deleted ones came back, please get in touch – we will help you get your cookbook back in order.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-09-07

Scan a recipe from a cookbook instead of typing it out. Cuvio prepares the title, ingredients, and instructions for your review. Text recognition happens entirely on your device, nothing is uploaded, and it works offline. Requires iOS 26.

Cuvio AI handles recipes that ordinary recognition cannot – such as a scanned page with two columns or a website that does not mark up the recipe. Cuvio prepares the title, ingredients, and instructions for your review. Only text leaves your device – never the photo, never the page address and never your notes. The feature uses credits that never expire.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-31

You can now select multiple recipes at once in the list. Send them to someone as a single file, or delete them all at once.

Paste a list of ingredients copied from anywhere straight into the form with a single tap. Cuvio automatically turns each line into an amount, unit, and ingredient name. In the form you can also edit the Source, the link to the page the recipe came from.

Recipes received from someone else now open directly in the form, so you can make your own changes before saving. We also improved web import and fixed how photos behave in the recipe list and detail.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-18

You can now find your recipes in system search. Start typing on the Home Screen and Cuvio offers what fits.
Ingredient amounts stay exactly as you typed them when you edit a recipe, finer fractions included.
A recipe can be duplicated straight from its detail, and holding a row in the list opens a menu of the most common actions. We also fixed problems in the web import, and making a backup no longer freezes the app.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-17

You can now delete recipes, categories, and tags right in Settings - pick what should go and see how much of it there is.
When you search or filter, the end of the list now shows how many recipes match - and in the plain list, how many you have in total.
Sending a recipe or a PDF to another app now works where it used to stop at an empty screen.
